Starting a new year in Australia

( Vision board for 2026 )

First week from 05.01 to 12.01

( Ocean waves at Main Beach )

Monday started slowly. I slept in a little and later did some Uber driving with Carmel.Around lunchtime Carmel and I went to Taco Bell while she was dealing the tires on her car. After that we went back home and had a nap. In the evening we met Mercedes at the Stingray Lounge at the QT in Surfers Paradise. The atmosphere was great and it felt nice to be out. Later that night we locked in the bond for our new place and decided we would move in on Saturday. It really felt like the beginning of something new and I felt genuinely excited for this next chapter. Tuesday morning Carmel and I went out to do some Uber driving together. Later she went to her physio appointment while I walked down to the beach. She joined me afterwards and we spent some time there which felt really peaceful. I had a nap in the afternoon and was hoping to work in the evening but it didn’t end up happening, so I stayed home and called my mum. Later Carmel and I went for a walk together before settling in for a quiet night at home while she worked. Wednesday I started the day at the gym which felt good after a slower couple of days. Afterwards I stopped by Starbucks in Robina and then headed home where Carmel and I had lunch together. Then in the evening I went to work.

Thursday was very relaxed. I slept in and spent some time by the pool just enjoying the sun. Carmel and I later drove down to Tweed Heads to drop off a hard disk. In the evening I stayed home and started cleaning, slowly getting things ready for the move.

Friday was a productive day. I spent some time by the pool and worked on my CV before Carmel and I had lunch together. We then started packing boxes and loading the car in preparation for moving. After a small break by the pool and took few pictures I spent the evening finishing up the cleaning and organizing everything.

Saturday was moving day. I woke up early and started bringing things from the old place to the new one by myself. Carmel woke up a bit later and I went back to our previous house to pack the rest of our belongings. After waiting for our housemates so we could return the keys, we finally headed to the new place. Walking into a home that is ours felt like such a relief, the moving went smooth even if it was a chaos. Carmel left for work in the evening and I stayed behind organizing everything and settling in.

Sunday was slow and quiet after the busy move. I spent most of the day cleaning and organizing and then with Carmel we watched Emily in Paris and enjoying the calm of the new space.

Second week 12.01 to 19.01

( Robina Cinema, Gold Coast )

Monday morning started with sending a few CVs while Carmel worked on some documents. After lunch we went out to check a few gyms around the area. On the way back we stopped at Yo-Chi in Surfers for a little treat before heading home. In the evening we watched Playdate while Carmel tried panettone for the first time. It was a quiet and cozy night before going to sleep.

Tuesday we woke up early. I went to the gym while also sending out a few CVs. Later Carmel and I had lunch together and then went out to do some Uber driving. We came back home around 5 pm because I had my appointment with the psychologist. After that Carmel and I went back out driving Uber again until about 9:30 pm. When we got home we had dinner and went straight to bed.

Wednesday morning Carmel and I went to the gym together. After coming back home I sent a few more CVs while she went to get her lashes done. We had lunch together and then went to Main Beach hoping to relax a little and take some photos, but it was very windy. Instead we went to collect my dress and then headed back home. I sorted out a few things while Carmel took a nap. We had dinner together later and I spent the night at home on my own.

Thursday morning I sent more CVs again before having lunch with Carmel. Later we went back to the beach to try doing our Christmas photoshoot. It was still windy but not as bad as the day before. We didn’t swim, just put our feet in the water and relaxed for a bit. When we got back home we jumped in the pool which felt really refreshing. Carmel then went to work and I spent the evening at home alone like usual.

Friday morning I sent a few more CVs. After lunch with Carmel, once she woke up, we went to Australian Fair to buy some shelves so we could place the plants properly at home. Later we went back and Carmel left for work. I stayed home but I wasn’t feeling very good that evening. Saturday I woke up early and sent a few more CVs. Carmel and I had lunch together and afterwards we built the shelves together which was actually quite nice. Later we relaxed watching some TV. In the evening Carmel’s shift got cancelled so we decided to go to the cinema in Robina to watch Anaconda. It turned out to be pretty interesting and it was a different kind of night out with popcorn, coke and Maltesers. After the movie we went back home and went to sleep. Sunday was a very quiet day at home, nothing too special during the day. In the evening Carmel went to work and I stayed home again.

Third week 19.01 to 26.01 and Adelaide work trip

( Room at the Grosvenor Hotel, North Terrace )

Monday morning I stayed home arranging my travel blog and organizing a few things before lunch. In the afternoon I had a lashes appointment at 2:30 pm and Carmel kindly drove me there. After the appointment we went back home and decided to watch the first Anaconda movie while having dinner, steak with corn. Later in the evening I called my friend Francesca and she shared some exciting news with me, she’s pregnant. Tuesday morning Carmel and I went out looking for plants in a random little place we found. After that we went to Bunnings where we ended up buying quite a lot of plants for the house. Once we got home we spent some time organizing everything and arranging the plants before having lunch. In the evening we decided to walk to Domino’s to pick up some pizzas and then watched Kangaroo Island while eating together. Wednesday started early. We woke up at 6 am and went to Coombabah Reserve hoping to see kangaroos and koalas and we took few pictures. After that we stopped by Australian Fair in the morning to run a few errands. Later we went home, had lunch and watched a bit of TV before taking a small nap together. In the afternoon I started packing while Carmel went to work in the evening. Thursday morning I woke up around 8 am, had breakfast and finished packing everything because I was leaving for Adelaide to work for a few weeks. Carmel took me to the airport and I boarded my flight at 11:25 am. After landing in Adelaide I took an Uber to the Sunrise Tequila Hostel. I couldn’t really sleep after arriving so I eventually just went to work even if I was very tired.  Friday I still couldn’t sleep properly, so early in the morning I ordered an Uber and went to the Grosvenor Hotel on North Terrace luckly I could check in immediately because I was feeling restless. Later in the day I went to work again a bit more fresh with different energy.  Saturday followed a similar rhythm. I mostly slept during the day, enjoying having a hotel room to myself for some quiet time, and then went to work at night.

Sunday was much the same. I spent the day resting and sleeping before heading to work in the evening since it was Australia Day and the club was open on Sunday as well.

At 2 pm I checked into the Paringa Hotel. After settling in I did some groceries and organized a few things. Fifth week 02.02 to 09.02 in Adelaide

( Valentines gift box from Carmel )

Monday I checked out at 10 am and stayed in the lobby for a while. Around 2 pm I went to the YHA to check in, but the room was very noisy because there was a construction site right in front of it. I went to Coles to grab a few things and later managed to change rooms. After that I just relaxed and had a quiet evening.

Tuesday I stayed in the room most of the day. In the evening I decided to go to Glenelg Beach to enjoy the warm weather and spend some time outside. I got an ice cream at Messina and watched the sunset which was really beautiful. Later I went back to the room and watched Bridgerton while talking on the phone with Carmel.

Wednesday was a relaxed day. I mostly stayed in and rested before going to work in the evening. Thursday followed the same rhythm, spending the day chilling and then heading to work at night. Friday I had to change rooms again. I checked out at 10 am and ended up sleeping for a while on the couch in the common living room area. At 1 pm I checked into the new room, slept a bit more and later ordered Guzman y Gomez for dinner before going to work.

Saturday was Valentine’s Day but unfortunately I wasn’t with Carmel. I woke up and ordered Domino’s. When I went down to the lobby the receptionist told me there was a box for me. It was a Valentine’s present from Carmel with flowers and a teddy bear with our pictures. It was such a sweet surprise. I called her afterwards before going back to rest and later headed to work. Sunday I bought some sushi and went to the park in front of the hostel to eat it. I ended up falling asleep there in the sun for a while which felt really nice. In the evening I went to work again since the club was open on Sunday as well because of the LIV Golf event.

Thirteen week from 30.03 to 06.04

( Cali beach club, Gold Coast )

Monday we woke up and decided to turn the day into a little road trip through northern New South Wales. We started with breakfast at Currumbin Valley Harvest, one of those places that instantly sets the tone for a slow and scenic day. From there we kept driving toward Nimbin, a quirky and colorful village surrounded by lush countryside. We stopped a few times along the way to take in the views and even visited a small candle factory. In the afternoon we met up with Milos and Daniela and spent the evening at Arts Factory Garden Bar, a relaxed and vibrant spot where we also met a couple of their friends. After a late kebab, we made the drive back home, tired but happy. Tuesday was slower and more routine. We started the morning at the gym, then Carmel took care of switching her car plates from South Australia to Queensland. After lunch I spent the afternoon studying while the weather kept us indoors. The evening was quiet, just staying in, watching TV, and recharging. Wednesday turned into one of my favorite days on the Gold Coast so far. We went for a walk along the Federation Walk Coastal Reserve, and it completely won me over. The ocean views, the fresh air, and the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a hidden gem. After a relaxed lunch at home, we headed out again in the evening to HOTA, Home of the Arts. We had oysters and fresh meat at the Exhibitionist Bar overlooking the skyline, then went to see Le Clique. Sitting in the front row made the whole experience even more memorable, something a bit different from the usual beach days. Thursday was simple but still special in its own way. After the gym, we spent the day at home studying and getting things done. In the evening, with no work scheduled, we decided to go out for dinner at Enzo’s Cucina for their cotoletta night. It turned out to be such a good choice, comforting and worth it, before heading back home for an early night. Friday was all about slowing down. We went to the gym in the morning, then stayed home painting and relaxing for most of the day. In the evening we cooked lasagne, turning a quiet day into something cozy and satisfying. Saturday was a mix of beach club vibes and hinterland exploring. We started at Cali Beach Club, which was lively and perfect for a few hours of sun, photos, and drinks. After heading home for lunch, we drove up to Tamborine Mountain. We had planned a wine tasting at Witches Falls Winery, but it was fully booked, so we improvised with a beer tasting at The Kennel Co., which turned out to be a great alternative. We ended the day at Hang Glider Launch and Lookout, watching the sunset over the hinterland, one of those views that makes you stop and just take it all in. Back home, Carmel introduced me to hot cross buns, a classic Australian Easter tradition. Sunday was both Easter Day and our first wedding anniversary from our Italian marriage, which made it feel even more meaningful. We celebrated with a picnic at the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens, surrounded by greenery and calm, a perfect contrast to the busy week. After heading home and calling my mum, I cooked a saffron risotto Milan-style for dinner. We ended the evening watching Peter Rabbit, leaning into the Easter mood in a simple, intimate way, just the two of us, before getting ready to leave for our next trip.

Fourteen week from 06.04 to 13.04

( Aibnb in the Tweed Hinterland, QLD )

Monday we woke up and went to My Favourite Baker, where I ordered an anniversary cake for our upcoming celebration. After that we drove to the Airbnb we had booked for two nights to relax. It was in the southern Gold Coast, already across the border into NSW, in the Tweed hinterland. The place was incredible, with a hot tub outside, fire pits, and a cosy setup perfect for a slow escape. We bought marshmallows for the fire, everything we needed for a BBQ for Pasquetta evening, and even some eggs to paint. The house also had wine and beers waiting for us. It was a really beautiful day overall, even if we had a small fight along the way. Tuesday we woke up surrounded by nature and complete peace. Having breakfast outside made the whole morning feel slow and calm. We spent the day relaxing, taking a few pictures, and just enjoying the space. In the evening we did another BBQ on the fire, roasted marshmallows, and then sat in the outdoor hot bath under the sky, drinking sparkling wine. It was one of those moments that feels both peaceful and emotional at the same time, relaxing but also reflective. Wednesday it was already time to check out. We stopped for a matcha in Coolangatta and took a walk around the area before heading to a pottery class at 3 pm. It was my first time doing something like that properly since school, and for Carmel it was a new experience too. After that we went home, completely exhausted but in a good way. Thursday we woke up at home and since it was a beautiful day we went for a walk along the Federation Coastal Walk, which was amazing as always. We came back home for lunch, and in the afternoon Carmel went to the dentist. I went with her and waited nearby, walking around while she was inside. After that I drove us back home and later Carmel went to work. Friday was simple. I went to the gym in the morning, then spent the rest of the day at home writing and organizing things. In the evening Carmel went to work, so it was a quiet night. Saturday we stayed home in the morning, had lunch together, and watched The Crown. Later in the afternoon we went to The Spit to relax and watch the sunset with a slurpee. Then we went back home, packed, had dinner, and went to bed early for the trip the next day. Sunday we woke up at 6 am, finished packing, and took a Didi to the airport. We flew to Adelaide at 9:05 am and watched The Crown on the plane. Once we landed, we picked up a rental car and went for lunch at Nijumaru Japanese Restaurant, an all-you-can-eat place in Australia that I had always wanted to try. After that we visited Carmel’s sister and spent some time with her and the kids. Around 4 pm we started the four-hour drive to Whyalla, stopping a few times for drinks and energy along the way. We arrived in the evening, spent some time chatting with her dad and meeting his girlfriend, and then finally went to sleep completely exhausted.

Fifteen week from 13.04 to 20.04

( Lighthouse at Point Lowly )

Monday we woke up and took the day slowly. We went to get a matcha and spent some time by the beach, keeping it very chill. Later we had lunch with Carmel’s mum at Eyre Hotel, where we had a hamburger and relaxed together. After that we visited Carmel’s grandma and grandpa and spent the afternoon there just chatting and unwinding. In the evening we went back to her dad’s house to get ready for dinner with him and his girlfriend at Westlands Hotel. It was a really nice, easygoing dinner and a good way to end the day. Tuesday we woke up and went for breakfast in Cowell with Carmel’s mum Carol at Sassy’s Café. After breakfast we took a walk along the boardwalk and mangroves, which was very peaceful. We then drove back to Whyalla, did some groceries to cook dinner for Carmel’s mum, then went to say hi to her dad before heading to her mum’s house for dinner and moving our stuff there . Wednesday we woke up and went for breakfast with her mum at Something Tastee, which was really nice. After that we went back home and spent time helping Carmel’s mum set up a camera system and sorting things out around the house. We had lunch there and continued helping through the afternoon. At 5:30 pm we all went out for dinner together with Carmel’s mum, her granddad, her girlfriend, and some family friends at Sundowner Hotel. After dinner we went to Carmel’s dad’s house to say goodbye, then returned to her mum’s place to sleep. Thursday we woke up early, had breakfast at home, and tried to fix the camera setup again. Carmel’s granddad came by to say goodbye, and around 10 am we left Whyalla to drive back to Adelaide. On the way we stopped at Point Lowly, then at Harry’s Homemade Fine Foods, and also passed by Kimba and Lake Bumbunga. Later we stopped at Laura’s house where she kindly invited us for the night, and in the evening we all went out for dinner at Marrakech Restaurant before heading home to sleep. Friday we woke up early, packed everything, and went to visit Carmel’s nieces for a little while. After that we returned the car to Simba and took the shuttle to the airport. We flew with Virgin at 4:30 pm, but the flight was delayed and our connection in Sydney was also delayed. We finally arrived on the Gold Coast around 10 pm, took an Uber home, and went straight to sleep, completely exhausted from the travel day. Saturday was a slow recovery day. We slept in, stayed home, and relaxed. Later we went to The Spit for a walk and did some groceries. Back home we watched a movie, painted a bit, and had a simple dinner of chicken with corn. In the evening we watched Crime 101. Sunday we woke up early and went to a yoga session at Goat Yoga at 9:30 am. After that we went back home, had lunch, and took a nap. In the late afternoon we went to watch the sunset at The Spit, then our landlord had given us some fresh seafood, mud crab, which was really good which I never tried before. We also had steak for dinner, watched The Crown, and then went to sleep.

Sixteen week from 20.04 to 27.04

( Emerald Lakes, Gold Coast )

Monday we woke up and started the day at Main Beach, then made a stop at Bunnings. After lunch, I spent the afternoon trying to sell some of my pieces on Vestiaire. In the evening we stayed in, had dinner at home, and watched Sotto il sole di Riccione and Amalfi, finishing the day with a relaxed movie night. Tuesday we went to Emerald Lakes for a walk, took some photos, and got a matcha. After heading home for lunch, we spent the afternoon indoors sorting a few things out and loosely planning summer 2026. In the evening we stayed in and watched Fabrizio Corona content, keeping the day very low key. Wednesday I woke up not feeling great, so we kept things slow. We went to The Spit for some fresh air, then headed back home where I rested most of the day with naps. In the evening I stayed in writing while Carmel went to work, and I went to bed early. Thursday we went to Benowa Botanical Garden, but the wind was so strong we didn’t stay long. After that we stopped at Coles and went home, where I cooked lunch for Carmel. We spent a quiet afternoon watching TV together before she went to work, and I stayed home for the evening. Friday it was raining all day, so I stayed home and cooked lunch for Carmel. We ordered bubble tea and had a cozy day indoors. In the evening she went to work while I stayed in, since the shift was shorter than usual. Saturday I stayed home in the morning writing, then napped in the afternoon. We had planned to go out, but Carmel’s shift got cancelled, so we ended up staying in. We ordered Domino’s and watched Apex, which turned into a quiet and simple night at home. Sunday we went to The Paddock for breakfast, even in the rain, then stopped at Harbour Town for groceries. After that we went home for lunch and spent the rest of the day together indoors, resting and getting ready for the week ahead.

This week, right after our trip to Adelaide, felt noticeably slower. The weather changed suddenly, with constant rain, colder days, and less sunshine than we were used to. On top of that I wasn’t feeling very well, so the rhythm of the week naturally shifted into something quieter, more domestic, and slower paced  a contrast to the travel and movement of the days before that we were very tired from.

Seventeen week from 27.04 to 04.05

( Park Canyon Lookout, Springbrook National Park )

Monday morning we stayed in and kept things slow at home. I cleaned while Carmel helped me study for my course, and we eased into the day before heading out for lunch. Later we went to Mandy’s for a bubble tea and then spent some time at The Spit just chilling by the water. In the evening we went back home, had dinner, and watched a documentary about Osama bin Laden before ending the day quietly. Tuesday started with Carmel going to do her lashes while I stayed home, cooked breakfast, and spent the morning writing. Later we went out for groceries and had an eyebrow appointment for a retouch. In the afternoon we went to Pacific Fair, then returned home and kept things low-key with an early night, since we were planning a day out for Carmel’s day off. Wednesday we decided to go to Springbrook National Park. The weather looked good at first, but as soon as we arrived it started raining quite heavily. We still tried to make the most of it, stopping at Canyon Lookout and exploring briefly, but the rain didn’t let up. We continued on to Natural Bridge, but it was still too wet to properly enjoy, so we eventually drove back home around 2 pm. The rest of the day was spent indoors, slow and relaxed, ending with dinner at home and finishing the documentary. Thursday we went to the gym in the morning, then spent some time choosing wedding photos to send to Carmel’s family. After that we stopped at Kmart to sort a few things out. In the evening Carmel went to work while I stayed home writing and getting things done. Friday I went for a walk at the Botanical Gardens in the morning, then came home to cook and watch a plastic detox documentary with Carmel while it was always raining this week as well. In the afternoon I went to a club meeting, and later stayed home cleaning and writing while Carmel worked.  Saturday I returned to the Botanical Gardens again for a morning walk, then had lunch at home with Carmel. The rest of the day stayed very calm, with a mix of resting, napping, and writing. In the evening I called my mum and kept things quiet at home. Sunday I started the morning with another walk at the Botanical Gardens, followed by lunch at home. Carmel rested while I wrote and organised plans for summer. Later her shift got cancelled, so we decided to go to Robina for a cinema night and watched The Devil Wears Prada 2. We got home quite late, around midnight, ending the week in a simple and relaxed way.

Eighteen from the 04.05 to 11.05

( Federation coastal walk, Gold Coast )

Monday we woke up and went to the gym, then had lunch at home. At 3pm we headed to Surfers for an inspection, and afterward stayed in the area for a Yo-Chi. We went back home, spent some time organising Korea, ordered a kebab for dinner, and watched an episode of the Cold War TV series before ending the day. Tuesday started with a few errands, then we went to Robina so Carmel could get her laser done. From there we drove to Burleigh Heads for a walk before heading home for lunch and a nap. Carmel’s shift ended up getting cancelled, so in the evening we used the time to organise everything for the summer trip, watched more of Cold War, and called it a night. Wednesday we went for a walk at the Botanical Gardens with Carmel, then did the grocery run at Coles before stopping by Harbour Town. We had lunch at home, watched some more of Cold War, and I spent the evening at home alone while Carmel went to work. Thursday I stayed home most of the day with a bit of a headache. The weather looked promising at first but turned cloudy again. I cooked lunch for Carmel, chilled in the early afternoon, and spent the evening writing and adjusting my blog, not leaving the house all day. Friday I cleaned the house in the morning, then went for a walk along the Federation Coastal Walk by myself and relaxed by the beach afterward. I stopped by Coles on the way home, then had lunch with Carmel. Later we went to The Spit to chill, and I tried to get some more summer planning done. Carmel’s shift was cancelled again, so we stayed home in the evening watching TV before heading to bed. Saturday we woke up early and went to the Burleigh Farmers Markets, which we really loved. Afterward we walked around Palm Beach Parklands before heading home for lunch. Carmel napped while I took care of a few things, and in the evening I cooked and cleaned while she went to work. Sunday I woke up and cleaned the house before Carmel got up. We had lunch together, then she worked on her course while I did my own things on the laptop. We had dinner and went to bed fairly early, wrapping up the week quietly.

Nineteen week from the 11.05 to 18.05

( Chilling at home in the morning )

Monday we woke up and had breakfast in bed, then went to the Federation Coastal Walk. We came home for lunch, watched an episode, and had a nap. In the evening we got Uber Eats together, though the night ended with a fight and not much sleep. Tuesday we were both still a bit off from the day before, so we took it easy. We had lunch together, then Carmel headed off for a noon shift at work. I stayed home writing and napping, had a shower, and went to bed while she was still out. She got back home while I wasn’t feeling well. Wednesday we went to the café at the Botanical Gardens for breakfast, then came home for a meeting with a broker. After lunch we grabbed a bubble tea and spent some time chilling by The Spit. Back home, we did some organising for the summer trip, then I went to sleep while Carmel headed to work. Thursday I stayed home all day doing bits and pieces and writing. Carmel went to work in the evening, and I made lasagne for dinner. Friday I went for a walk in a different park, trying to head further north, but the weather turned windy and rainy so I came back home. I made a frittata for lunch, then we went to the post office to send Carmel’s dad a birthday present. We stopped at Coles for some groceries, then went home to sleep early and do some more organising for the trip. Saturday Carmel woke up early and went to Brisbane for a course, while I stayed home, had breakfast, and spent the morning relaxing and planning things. When she got back we spent some time together, then got Hungry Jack’s and watched a movie. Sunday was much the same, with Carmel heading to Brisbane for her course while I stayed home cleaning, cooking, writing the blog, and getting things done. In the evening when she got back we decided on Korean food for dinner and went to a Korean BBQ buffet on the Gold Coast, which was great — all-you-can-eat — and came home to celebrate the end of her course.

Twenty weeks from 18.05 to 25.05

( Last morning beach walks before going to Europe )

Monday we went to the gym together, then did the groceries and came home for lunch. It rained heavily those days, which made things a bit miserable, so in the evening we just stayed home, had steak, and went to bed early. Tuesday we went to the gym together in the morning, then spent time at home studying and organising things. In the evening Carmel went to work while I stayed home making lasagne. Wednesday the weather finally cleared up, so I went for a walk along the Federation Coastal Walk and chilled by the beach for a while. I came home for lunch and spent the afternoon with Carmel, then she went to work in the evening while I stayed home. Thursday I went to the gym, then printed everything out to put together a vision board. In the evening Carmel worked while I stayed home. Friday morning I worked on the vision board at home, then Carmel woke up and helped me with some studying. I finished booking a few things before she headed off to work, and I stayed home for the rest of the day. Saturday I got my lashes done at 11am, then picked up some snacks for Carmel to celebrate her finishing work after a year of working really hard. In the afternoon we went to watch the sunset at The Spit, then headed home to relax before bed. Sunday we went to the HOTA markets, which was lovely as always, then came home and spoke with the landlord about arrangements for the coming weeks. We had lunch, spent some time getting things organised, and watched Scarface in the evening.

Monday 25.05.26

We woke up early and worked on the vision board for 2026, then had lunch followed by a bubble tea. We went to The Spit one last time before leaving, and in the evening we cleaned and organised everything to get ready for the trip.

Tuesday 26.05.26

We woke up at 6:30am, got ready, and did a final check around the house before taking an Uber to Nerang Station. From there we caught a train to Brisbane, which took about an hour and a half. Our Jetstar flight departed at 11:10am and we landed around 8pm a long, pretty boring flight, though we watched a few movies and got some food on the plane to pass the time.

Once we landed we went through immigration and eventually made our way into the city. We grabbed a random one-way ticket that took us to Jongno 3-ga Station, then used Naver Map (Google Maps doesn’t work very well there) to find a 7-Eleven nearby for some food. From there we headed to the hostel to finally sleep, arriving well past midnight.
