Where I’ve been:

• St.Petersburg 2017

 

My first time in Russia was In St. Petersburg in the 2017 during my exchange in Latvia.

St.Petersburg from 11th to 16th October 2017

“I woulden’t ask nothing more than a bottle of wine, new friends ready to have a party all together in some Russian club, and be in St. Peterburg one of the most beatiful city that i haver saw in my life with the amaizing hermitage museum on the back I can’t ask for anything better  and this picture already expresses all the happiness  that i have when I’m  traveling.”

DAY 1 – Wednesday 11.10.2017

“The boat view from Tallinn to Helsinkin”

I left my home the Valdemara residence with my flatmate from Portugal at 4:30 am I arrived at  the meeting at 5 am to pick up the bus to Tallin, it’s take 4 hours of ride until the port of Tallin where we took a ferry to Helsinki.

15:30  Meeting at Helsinki West Terminal (Länsisatama). Timetravels representatives hand out the programs, cabin cards. After we went in a bar for have a snack  with the guide of ESN Riga and after we come back to the port.

19:00  M/S Princess Anastasia departs from Helsinki to St. Petersburg.

We had a dinner in the cafe, we drink in a different bedroom and after we went to the club “Columbus” until 1 am, I was in the cabin with 3 girls one from Turkey, Austria and Bulgaria.

DAY 2 – Thursday 12.10.2017 

” On the ferry just arrived in the harbour of St. Petersburg “

09:00 We arrived in St Petersburg, we wake up at 11:30 we went on the deck to have a breakfast like some food that we bought before, later packing the suitcase and get out of the boat.

14:00  Disembarking from the ferry & passport control.  To qualify for a 72 hour VISA FREE visit.

I went alone in the bus 7 with ESN Lund probably, because there isn’t anymore space in the group ESN Riga.

I bought all of my activities that I bought all of them just not the ballet because was 50€.

So I add:

• Russian dinner
• Limo tour
• Canals tour
• Church’s tour
• Catherine palace tour

15:30 Guided city tour. Get to know the famous city sights:

• The Spit of the St Basil Island
• Nevsky prospect, etc.
• Peter & Paul fortress

18:00  Check-in at the hostel I met my roomate before in the bus she’s come from Belgium and she’s an Erasmus student in Copenhagen.

20:30  Meeting at the hotel lobby. Departure to Russian Dinner party, traditional Russian Evening – Show and Dinner.

After we stayed  in the center for clubbing all the three night, in those clubs:

• Soul Kitchen
• Rossi’s Club
• MOD

DAY 3 – Friday, 13.10.2017

Alarm at 8:20 breakfast on the street in one  of backery in the hostel street. 09:30 Guided bus excursion to Pushkin, Catherine’s Palace in “Village of the Tsars”. Location 30 km away from the city. Afterwards free time in the Catherine’s park.

13:30 Departure from Pushkin back to the hotel.

Arrival to the hotel approx. 15:00, after we had some free time so we walked around the city until the park and the church of the Savior on blood.

23:30    Limousine tour with sparking wine, duration 1,5 hour. After-party in a night club.

In the hostel at 3 am, the way back to the hostel we alway took the taxi that they not soo expensive.

DAY 4 – Saturday, 14.10.2017

” At the Hermitage museum”

Alarm at 9:20.

10:15  Departure to Hermitage Museum.  Guided tour of the State Hermitage Museum. Duration apx. 2 hours. After the tour you may stay in the museum or have a lunch or a walk in the city. 

We had a lunch in the fist bar that we found bcause we didn’t have a lot of time.

14:30  Cathedrals of St Petersburg tour.

Includes visit to the most beautiful cathedrals of St. Petersburg:

• – Nikol’skyj Cathedral
• -St Isaac’s Cathedral (la prima)
• -Cathedral on the Spilled Blood

Overall duration of the program 3 hours, come back in the hostel.

20:30 Meeting at the hostel lobby. Departure to The night cruise on Rivers and Canals. And after clubbing in the city center.

DAY 5 –Sunday, 15.10.2017

Alarm at 10, check-out by 11:00.

11:00    Bus departure from the hotel to the harbour.

12:00  Passport control and boarding.

18:00 M/S Princess Anastasia departs to Helsinki. Same cruise program as on the 1st day, the some roomates and clubbing in the boat.

DAY 6 – Monday, 16.10.2017

7:00 Arrival in Helsinki. Debarking, Finnish customs and passport control. The ferry continues to Tallinn, and after the bus to come back in Riga.
