My first time in Malaysia was during the Asia 40 days tour in the 2019.

I spent there more than 10 days, from the 17th of April till the 28th of April 2019.

After all Thailand, I took the palne to Penang the first city of Malaysia from Bangkok and then I crossed all the coutry by bus till JB and passed the border I arrived in Singapore.

After to said goodbye to my friends at the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport I did the check-in and then I went to the gate alone, kind of sad and disappointed because I really missed the company of my friends.

But at 7:30 pm my next flight was waiting me for a new experience in Malaysia. I landed in Penang at 10:10 pm, I take my backpack, I change the euros that my friends gave me because the ATM machine took one of my credit card and the other wasn’t working in Thailand. Except all those money problems I keep going and do my things so I called Grab to bring to the hostel that I booked. When I arrived it looks like a party l, full of people and loud music, I did the check in and one girl that worked there she show me my bedroom and then I left all of my belongings and I went downstairs to drink a cocktail because was free, I had a chat with couple of people and at mid night the music ends and I went to sleep.

Woke up at 9 am breakfast and then walk around the city, asking for tours to try to organize the next days and then visit the blue house, Cheong Fatt Tze.

For the lunch at 1 pm I met Chiara a Germany girl that I just know from the party at my hostel the night before. We eat at Yun Shui Vegeterian house, cause she’s vegetarian. Then we walked around the street art Penang, we visited then Leon San tong temple.

Later on we walked around the little India and China town, while was raining we made a stop at the coko ice cream for a lovely ice cream.

Then the rainbows walk but was to expensive so we just skipped it and we visit the hin bus depot.

Then we decided to visit the Temple Kek Lok Si but once we arrived was close because closed at 6 pm but we didn’t know so we just switch it for the program of the next day, so we have been for the sunset at the Penang hill later on hostel, one vodka-orange because was free and sleep.

Woke up at 8 do my things, breakfast and later meet up with Chiara at coffee lane at 9 am, drink an ice coffee as I use to do since I’m in indochina and then call Grab to Kek Lok Si, so far probably one of my favorite temple, later lunch at Waterfall cafe just next to the botanical garden, we eat roto indian food and then Botanical garden later lunch in the street casually and then Hostel 5:30 pick up the backpack order Grab to go to the port.

To cross the river by boat is less then half and hour but unfortunately the only available bus to Ipoh was at 9:45 pm.

So I arrive in Ipoh at 00:30 fortunately I already advice the hostel that I could be late and they already send the picture of where I can find the key for my bed.

Woke up at 10 am walk to the Waffle bar and caffee for a breakfast then walk to the market lane street, White flower shop, street art Ipoh and later back to the hostel for a rest and then temples at first the Buddhist temple Ling Sen Tong, then the Chinese, Nam Thean Tong and the last one, actually the most famous was closed unfortunately, and while was raining I come back to the Hostel.

I had the dinner the History restaurant next to the hostel, and then sleep.

Woke up at 6:30 am goes to the bus station, 8 am bus to Cameron, arrived at 10:15 breakfast at Starbucks, then hostel.

I book a tour at the bus station for the afternoon after different trying because no agency was doing a tour in the noon, but finally I found this one only for 30rm with other three people, a Chinese family.

The tour start visiting boh tea plantation then Cameron Lavender, apiary farm, rose centre, market square, Sam Poh Buddhist temple, super amaizing but very turistic.

Then back to the hostel and I went to sleep early for the next tour, the mroning after.

( Night at Regalia, KL )

” Sunrise at the Cameron Highlands “

Woke up at 5 am, 5:30 am the tour come to pick me up to go to see the sunrise.

The spot that they bring me it’s next to the strawberry mountain farm, amaizing expenrice precisely want I wanna see of Malaysia.

Bus at 11am to KLSentral, check in at the hostel sleep a little bit, then I went up stairs for a bath in the swimming pool.

Night I went to drink something at Marini’s with uber, then I come back to sleep.

Woke up at 9, i called uber to the McDonald’s for the brakfast,  then by walk I went to the Mosque, amaizing. Then, Market street, Guan Di temple, Sri Mahamaiamman Temple, Chinese temple, Chinatown, all of those places by walk while everything is very close.

Later home to rest a little bit, I went to the park just down of the Skybar, I took few pic and for the sunset I went up, I eat and drink something there amaizing atmosphere and view.

Woke up at 9 am, I went to the Putra train station I catch the train immediately to go to visit the Caves. I stayed there almost two hours then I took the train at 12:15 am to KL Sentral and I walked to the Perdana botanical gardens.

Then I called Uber to the Thean Hou Temple, and then I come back to the apartment to go to sleep early.

Woke up at 6:40 am go upstairs at the rooftop pool of regalia to catch the sunset, than shower and Jalan Alur street, palladium mall and twin towers inside for a lunch and take pictures outside.

The back at Regalia do the check out and go to the BTS to take the bus to Malacca Sentral at 2:15 pm, two hours of driving.

Once I arrived I met Chiara in the train station, while she come to pick me up with the coughsurfing guy, we went in his house we leave our stuff and we went out for the dinner in a little street open bar, and then our host he drove us back to home.

( Night at The Dutch Guesthouse, Malacca )

Woke up at 7:30 am with Chiara, and did the breakfast with the guy that host us all together in the living room while we were watching Sherlock Holmes 2.

Then me and Chiara we called Grab to the down town because we were staining a bit out, and we went at the bar “ The stolen cup “ a really nice cafè, we spent there three hours because was raining too much.

When the weather becomes better we walked around the town and along the river.

For lunch we stopped at the Mori Vegetarian Tea House, a really fancy restaurant. Then home bus stop and check in at the Dutch Guesthouse, walk around, Reggae on the river dinner for relax and dinner.

Wake up at 7 am, leave the hostel take the bus to Mersing at 8:00 am, arrived there at 12:20 am book the ticket for the ferry then walk to the harbor.

Take the boat at 2 pm to Tioman island arrived there at 4:30 pm go to the chalet do the check in, shower and then beach, search an atm machine and have a dinner and drinks at Tioman Cabana beach bistro, and then sleep.

Wake up at 7am, ferry at 11:30vam to Mersing, once I arrived in Mersing I walked to the Sentral bus station, I stopped in KFC for a lunch and then at 4:30 pm bus to Johor Bahru, while I was waiting the bus I took few pic.

At 7:30 pm  bus to Singapore, from JB, the traffic jam was horrible, and at the border very slow all the control. I arrived in the hostel around 1 am from the bus station I took uber and before I immediately did the sim card and take at the atm some money.
