Holiday in Tel Aviv 2023
It was a totally spontaneous trip.
While I was leaving in Australia I went back to see my family and friends during summer 2023 and one of my friend Jasmine invited me to the Tomorrowland festival with her friend on the 23rd of July so I decided to join her. She had vacation the week before and I didn’t know what to do so we organised to do something together and we choose a price that both of us we never been so we went to Israel precisely to Tel Aviv for six days.
DAY 1 – Sunday 16.07.2023

I woke up at 6:45 am got ready pack everything quickly and my mum took me to the airport and I said goodbye to her always the hardest part. Then I meet Jasmine at the gate and we took the plane at 10:00 am landed in Warsaw at 12:40 pm. We did the controls grab some food at McDonald’s and went to the gate for the next flight at 1:30 pm and finally we landed in Tel Aviv at 6:50 pm. From the airport we did the passport controls, and we took the train to Tel Aviv Hashalom and then the bus to the hostel Selina Frishman. Once we arrived we were pretty tired we just did the check in took a shower and we went to sleep.
DAY 2 – Monday 17.07.2023

We woke up at 8:30 am we did the breakfast in the hostel and then we went straight to the beach which it was amazing the sea, the water temperature, everything. We had lunch by the beach at Calypso so we also had a little break from the sun and the hot weather. Then around 5 pm we got back to the hostel to get ready and we went out for dinner at Roodi a really nice rooftop place just next to the corner it was very elegant and romantic totally loved it.
DAY 3 – Tuesday 18.07.2023

We woke up quite late we were very tired and we decided to visit the old city of Tel Aviv called old Yaffa. So after the breakfast at 9:30 am we got ready and we walked there doing the promenade of Tel Aviv which it takes around an hour but is really beautiful even if it’s under the sun. We walked around the old town passing by the Gate and the Tiwer Clock and then we stopped for lunch at Kalamata Greek restaurant in Kdumim square. After lunch we took Gett which is similar to Uber to go back to the hostel and than we slept a bit and chilled a bit and after we got ready to go out and enjoying the sunset at CB 78 a really nice rooftop bar where we had dinner there.
DAY 3 – Wednesday 19.07.2023

We woke up at 6 am, we got ready and we went to the meeting point at the Dan hotel at 6:40 am in front out hostel. We choose the day tour to Gerusalemme Old and New city with Beinharim tours, it took an around one hour to the to Gerusalemme stopping by Elvis bar for the breakfast. We take in the panoramic views of Jerusalem from the top of Mount of Scopus then travel down the mount passing the biblical Garden of Gethsemane, Church of All Nations, and Kidron Valley which holds monumental Jewish tombs. In the Jewish Quarter, we see the Cardo; the Byzantine-era main street of Jerusalem. We stop at the sacred Western Wall to place a prayer note between the ancient stones of the wall. The tour follows part of the Via Dolorosa to the stunning Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Here we see the site of Christ’s crucifixion and his burial tomb. After a lunch break and walk through the Old City bazaar we travel to new Jerusalem. Driving through the modern city we reach Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. The museum’s exhibits include authentic artifacts, original documents, photos, and video testimonials of Holocaust survivors. Later on at 4:30 pm we made our way back to Tel Aviv.
DAY 4 – Thursday 20.07.2023

I woke up at 7 am got ready and I went to take some pics. Than I did breakfast with Jasmine and later on we decided to spend the day chilling and the beach but we wanted to change so we went to Banana beach. It was very nice and chilled we had lunch at the Banana beach club and than we stayed there all noon till the sunset that we made our way back to the hotel. For dinner we decided to eat something local and we got suggested to try Yashka and than we went back to sleep.
DAY 5 – Friday 21.07.2023

We woke up early did the breakfast and we went to Frishman beach and we stayed there till lunch time that we eat in the same place as the first day and than we grand an ice cream at Golda and than we went back to the hotel ordered a Gett to the airport but while we were on the car I realised that I booked the wrong plane for Saturday the day after so we couldn’t do anything just went to the airport and I bought I flight ticket with Jasmine to Milan Malpensa with Wizz Air that supposed to depart at 10:10 pm but got delayed so we departed at 11:35 pm but by the time we got in Milan was lasted to go to Jasmine’s friend to rest few hours so she just took me to Linate airport where my flight to Brussel was at 7 am.
