My dream was visiting the United Arab Emirates especially Dubai so on the Black Friday November 2019 while I was living in Paris I booked the flight to Abu Dhabi for February 12th of the 2020, I could go to the Emirates because it was a stop on the way to Australia. Fortunately after on January 10th I get the visa to Australia so I booked the rest of the trip from Dubai so I could visit and stayed 10 days in the Emirates and enjoying the nice weather and discovering this new country.
Day 1 – Wednesday 12.02.2020

Woke up at 5:45 am my mum took me to the stop of the bus in Santhia at 7:25 am, as usual kind of hardly say goodbye but we did it. At 9:30 am I arrived in Milan Bergamo airport and the flight lended at 1:40 pm unfortunately with a bit of delay. One I landed in Istanbul I stayed all the time in a lovely restaurant “big chefs” while I was doing the cv for searching a job in Australia, then I had a dinner there and at 9:50 pm I depart to Abu Dhabi agin with Pegasus airlines and i lêndeas in Abu Dhabi Arlindo 3 am and from the airport i took the bus to the hotel I payed a supplement to have the bedroom earlier and I went to sleep at 5 am.
Day 2 – Thursday 13.02.2020

I woke up at 10:30 am I went to do the breakfast and then I come back to sleep till 3 pm more less, I woke up again and I went to walk around the city, to the beach and then I took careem to Rosewood where is located the Glo bar for an aperitif and then I come back to the hotel to sleep, couse I was too tired from the travel of the day before.
Day 3 – Friday 14.02.2020

I woke up at 9 am I did the breakfast and then I took the bus to the Louvre Abu Dhabi museum which is kind of expensive and there is nothing that I liked to see, then I took an other bus to the Emirates palace, bus the public transport are a bit difficult which is full of buses and the streets are so large and you don’t really know where they start or stop. Anyway I arrive to the Emirates palace I visit it inside and is really beautiful and elegant of course, then I wanted to go to the mosque but due to the buses I couldn’t because I get lost, so I went to watch the sunset at the Level Bar the bar just up in the hotel where I was staying, then I went to buy something for dinner at McDonald’s and I went to sleep.
Day 4 – Saturday 15.02.2020

I woke up at 7:15 am, I had a breakfast and I went to the mosque by bus, I really love it, one of the best mosque that I ever seen in my life probably, after at 1 pm I did the check out of the bedroom and then I went up to the Level Bar to take the sun next to the swimming pool and trying to get tan, later around 5 I called Careem to take me to the main bus stop of Abu Dhabi to take the bus to Dubai, it departs at 6:20 pm for 29 dhiram only and I arrived in Dubai Al Ghubaiba I had a dinner at the McDonald’s and there I realized that was the wrong bus stop because my hostel is in Dubai marina, so I took the bus number 8 and I go back down to Dubai marina, and around 10 pm I arrived in the hostel which I did the check in and for the two first night they put my in a small bedroom with a view on the beach and then on Monday I switched to the big dorm female.
Day 5 – Sunday 16.02.2020

I woke up around 11 am definitely tired, I went to walk around the Dubai Marina, to the beach but it was too cold the water and too hot the sun so I went to the supermarket where I bought some food for the next days and I went to the hostel to make the sandwiches. Later I took the tram and the metro to go to the Dubai mall, which is ama with all the luxury brand I walked there but is too big to visit all the shops, I did a little stop at Paul bakery for the afternoon snack and then for the sunset I went to see the Burj Khalifa where at 6 pm started the fountain shows and I watched two of them and then I come back to the hostel to relax and sleep.
Day 6 – Monday 17.02.2020

I woke up at 9 am, I had a breakfast and then I went to take the tram and metro and to go to visit the Old Dubai, totally face but very suggested full of nice little bar and a lot of arts, absolutely quiet ideally to rest a bit. From there is possible to see the Creek the old port of Dubai with all the little ships which u can across the bridge for only one Dhiram. Then around 3 pm I went to the metro and to come back to the hostel it takes around one hour. At the hostel I rest a little bit and the I went to the Pure sky lounge & Dining just next to the Hostel and then after the sunset I come back at the Hostel to sleep.
Day 7 – Tuesday 18.02.2020

( Safari Desert Dubai )
Morning photos around Dubai Marina and then Back to the Hostel for lunch and at 2 pm we left the hostel to do the Safari Desert Tour with the others of the hostel. The came to pick up us at the hostel, as a first stop we did the Quad tour which it was on charge by us, kind of expensive so I didn’t do it, the we did the 4×4 dune bashing till the Arab village and there was possible do the Camel riding, Sand boarding, Henna designing, dressing up in Arabic dress … we did almost all of those activities and then we went to took few pictures at the sunset time and the we come back to the Arabic village were we did the dinner while enjoying the Arabic shows. Later the guide drop us off to the Hostel were we get ready to go out the the Rixos at the club Lock down were there was a lady’s night, we had few drinks and fun there and around 3 am we went back to the Hostel.
Day 8 – Wednesday 19.02.2020

( Burj al Arab, Dubai )
I tried to woke up early from the previous night out and I went to the Burj al Arab which you can enter only if you have the reservation in the restaurants, so I went to the beach just next to the Burj al Arab but all the buildings around were in construction and the panorama was very ugly so I went to the other side of the Burj al Arab at the Souk of Medinat Jumeirah which is a nice area full of bars and restaurants with a lot of tourist. On the way back to the hostel I grab something for the lunch and then I went to sleep a bit because I was too tired and the I went to the Level 43 Sky Lounge and then I tried to go to the Billionaire club but there was only the bar open so I tried the Armani Privè but was closed so I come back to the hostel by bus because the metro was already closed.
Day 9 – Thursday 20.02.2020

I woke up kind of late and I went for a lunch to the Barasti beach bar where I enjoyed the lunch next to the swimming then I come back to the hostel for rest a bit and then I went to the Dubai Mall to go up to the Burj Khalifa but it was very expensive at that hour do I rescheduled it for the day after and then I went to the Luna Sky bar at the Four Seasons hotel in the financial center very nice area with amazing new buildings and then I come back home to trying to go to sleep early.
Day 10 – Friday 21.02.2020

I woke up at 7 am and I tried to go to the Burj Khalifa but unfortunately I couldn’t because the metro wasn’t working so I went straight to the Zero Gravity beach lounge where I did the Friday Brunch really nice place but a little bit to crowded. Around 4 pm I come back to the Hostel and I get ready to go to do the last aperitif at the Ritz Carlton just few buildings from the Hostel. It was really amazing as usual Ritz hotels are the best I could enjoyed the sunset in peaceful by myself, and then I come back to the hostel to pack everything and get ready for the journey of the next day.
Day 11 – Saturday 22.02.2020

I woke up at 7 am I went to Jumeirah Beach residence 1 tram stop and then I went to metro which it takes me directly to the Dubai international airport terminal 1. My flight to Bengaluru was at 10:55 am with IndiGo air company and I did the first transfer there then the second in Singapore and finally I landed in Brisbane the day after 23/02/2020 in the evening.
One week in Dubai 2024

I decided to go back to Dubai because it would be in the middle from Indonesia and Milan since on the 08.11.24 I had to discuss my second degree thesis.
And also the 6th was Carmels bday so why not celebrating in Dubai which is a beautiful city where I wanted to go in few places that I haven’t been before and she wanted to visit it as well. So we booked a week in Dubai exploring the city.
DAY 1 – Thursday 31.10.24

We arrived in Singapore at 1:46 am changed the terminal, went near by the next gate and we laid on the floor to sleep few and actually was pretty good and comfy. Once we woke up we went to Paul to have breakfast and then to the gate ready to board at 9:35 am. The flight was pretty good we had food and we watched the Monkey man and the Godfather and then we landed in Dubai at 13:05 pm once we got all the luggage and control and then we took the metro to the hotel which got got there at 3 pm just on time to do the check in. We nap a bit but then actually we were so tired that we kept sleeping all night till the day after basically, so we skipped Halloween and any parties around the city.
DAY 2 – Friday 01.11.24

We woke up early in the morning and we had breakfast in the hotel and then we took the metro to go to visit the Marina and the Marina beach which it was very nice but way crowded that what I remember, even the beach was full full of people. So we walked a bit around the beach and then we decided to take a Careem and go to chill and relax at The Pool Bar at the hotel Five Jumeira, it was amazing honestly and for ladies the entry was redeemer on food and drinks, we stayed there all noon chillin the and enjoying the atmosphere. After we went back to the hotel we changed and we went to Above Eleven Rooftop Bar which we took a Careem and we make it there before sunset and we could enjoy the atmosphere very well, I just got a coke nothing crazy but was a really nice rooftop bar and environment and then we went back to the hotel to sleep.
DAY 3 – Saturday 02.11.24

We woke up at 6:30 am took the metro to go to the Burj Khalifa which it takes a lot of time to go there unfortunately and finally we find the At the top where we could used the ticket that I booked in get your guide previously. So at 9 am we went up to the Butj Khalifa which is the tallest building in the planet and also has the fastest elevator in the planet. It was a very nice exercise but was very crowded anyway we could take few pictures and then we had lunch at McDonald and from there we took the metro up in the old area of Dubai to do a walking tour with Freetour.com to visit the area, it was three hour tour so actually pretty nice and we could learn a lot of the city and we tried different types of coffee and some local food. The tour finished at 7 pm I was very exhausted from the day so we went straight back to the hotel to sleep.
DAY 4 – Sunday 03.11.24

We woke up at 4:30 am grab a Careem and we went to Aura for the sunrise exercise, it was actually crazy, we got at the hotel and even earlier was full of people, finally we could get up to the pool area at 5:30 am. It was all dark basically looked like nights and the water of the pool was warm absolutely amazing and relaxing. So we chill a bit then took few pictures with the professional photographer and then we got a coffee and a smoothie for a breakfast and unfortunately at 9 am we had to leave the pool. So we just went to the mall next door where we had a proper breakfast at McDonald and then we went to decathlon but we couldn’t find anything so we went to H&M where we bought few things and went back to the hotel where Aura is located, order a Careem and went back to the room to chill a bit while we ordered lunch and we got ready for 2:30 pm for the desert tour that I booked in get your guide.I already did a similar tour in 2020 but I didn’t mind doing it again, actually was pretty nice as a first activity we did the quad bike drive which it was pretty nice and then we went to the open desert where I tried to do sand boarding for the first time and we took few pictures there and watched the sunset. After we went to the camp where we did a little camel ride in the evening and then we had dinner in the camp. It was very nice and them after around 9 pm we got dropped off in the hotel and went to sleep.
DAY 5 – Monday 04.11.24

We woke up in the morning at 8 am went for breakfast at Speedway Cafe and then back to the hotel trying to organize the backpack and all the things for the following days. Then we did the check out at 12 pm we passed by the Speedway Cafe for lunch again and we went to the metro station after we took a Careem to the hotel where we got there at 2 pm perfect for the check . We went to check out the pool and then we took a quick nap before getting ready to go to Ce la vie for a drink before 6 pm so there isn’t a minimum spend. It was amazing I always wanted to go there and it was absolutely worth it, after we decided to go to watch the fountain show at the Burj Khalifa which it was a big walk actually but nice to see again the fountain game and took few pictures. We went back to the hotel with the metro station which it was near to the hotel luckily and we went straight to sleep.
DAY 6 – Tuesday 05.11.24

( Nikki Beach Club, Pearl Palm )
We woke up at 9 am which actually we couldn’t even get out of the bed as tired as we were so we decided to have breakfast in the hotel around 10 am and then we got slowly ready to go to Nikki beach which was ladies day on Tuesday and the entry fee was redeemed towards drinks. We stayed there for a bit and we could enjoy the see as well which it was pretty quiet and not crowded as Marina beach . After we stoped at the mall near the hotel because I had to buy carmels present and then we went back to the hotel around 6 pm and we started to get ready for the evening which I’ve booked a table at the Billionaire for dinner. We got there at 9 pm, it was amazing and luckily we had a nice table as well where we could see and enjoy the show properly. The food was Italian and very good actually and the show was amazing with incredible performers, at mid night was Carmel bday and they took an assortment of dessert with the h-bay write it was quite cute but we couldn’t eat all the desserts because we were too full from all the food. After around 1 am we left and we decided to go to a night club so we went to the Armani Prive which actually was totally empty so we just got a drink and then we took Careem to go back home around 3 am. Unfortunately I was feeling bad all night vomiting and shitting like a nightmare.
DAY 7 – Wednesday 06.11.24

We woke up at 9 am I gave Carmel her presents and then we took a Careem to go down to the Marina to do a yacht tour that I’ve booked in get your guide. Then we went back home I was feeling really sick unfortunately and but we had to get ready and we went at Burj Al Arab which I always wanted to go. First we went to the Sky View Bar for sunset which actually we missed the sunset because we were in late and after having two drinks and a cheese platter we went downstairs at Ristorante l’olivo to have dinner. The restaurant was amazing with the aquarium view we totally love it and the food again was Italian since I wasn’t really good I couldn’t really enjoys it but was nice. And then we took few pictures around and we went back to the hotel to sleep.
DAY 8 – Thursday 07.11.24
I woke up at 4 am got ready, packed everything then I ordered Careem and went to the airport, in the I did all the controls and the I board for my flight at 7:15 am to Milan flying with Flydubai, it was a small plane but actually I got food and refreshments so was pretty good and went quite smmoth. Once I got in Milan I took the bus to Milan central station, arrived there and in from of the stop there was L’antico Vinaio where I immediately bought a focaccia and then I took the train to Vercelli where my mum was waiting for me.
