New Caledonia 2023
I was a quite spontaneous decision like I had to do a stop somewhere between NZ and Japan so why not visit a new place, I checked out NC and Vanuatu than NC was cheaper and I opted for that. I wanted to visit more like some island as well but the weather I knew that wasn’t good so I thought about doing just day tours which I didn’t do it because I wasn’t feeling very well.
DAY 1 – Wednesday 18.01.23

I woke up at 6 am get ready and order and Uber to go to the airport and than I dropped off the bags I went to McDonald’s to have breakfast and than I got on the plane at 9:05 am and I landed in Noumea at 10:05 am. I did all the check and controls which it was quite fast since is France and than I checked where was the shuttle to go to my hostel. It took like more than an hour and than I did the check in and I went to the supermarket to buy some food because I was starving and than I went sleep, I was feel really bad after the travelling and I stayed in bed all day.
DAY 2 – Thursday 19.01.23

Woke up at 7:30 am I went downstairs I did breakfast and than I walked to the beach the closest one was plage de citron took few photos but the weather was bad so I went back to the room. I was feeling really bad so I decided to go to a clinic I walked there but they were like only offices so they told me to go in an other clinic but it was far and I had to get a tact etc. So I gave up and I just went back to the hotel to sleep all day. Just for the sunset I decided to go to the beach plage the citrone to watch the sunset it wasn’t really nice but at least I got outside of my room.
DAY 3 – Friday 20.01.23

Woke up at 8 am did the breakfast and than walked around the city but was quite cloudy I couldn’t even take pictures so I went to the supermarket I got some food and I went back to the hotel at 1 pm to eat and than I just chill and write and stayed in the room for the rest of the day.
DAY 4 – Saturday 21.01.23

I woke up later than usual I did the breakfast downstairs and than was raining and it kept rains all day just so i stayed in the bedroom all day luckily it was a four bedroom but I was alone for most of the time.
DAY 5 – Sunday 22.01.23

Woke up at 7 am and I saw the sun outside which it supposed to rain all day so I immediately got ready and I went for a walk to take some pictures, I walked till the Roof and than on the way back I stopped for breakfast at Lemon Bay Cafe and than I went back to the Hotel change and went to sunbathe at the Plage de Citrone till the noon that the weather get cloudy. So I went back to the hotel I took a shower and than I went back to the beach to watch the sunset which today was nice and than at 8:30 pm the shuttle to the airport come to pick me up. I had to wait a bit at the airport I had the flight to Narita at 1:05 am but luckily the time went fast and on the plane I could sleep well.
Fiji, Vanuatu and NC 2023
After ten weeks of work in Darwin I decided to go on vacation initially I just wanted to do Bali by myself but then I decided that I wanted to travel with Carmel so we organize to go away together, if wasn’t Bali I really wanted to do Vanuatu but the flights aren’t the best from Darwin so we stayed in Fiji for two days and than in NC staying in an island that I already wanted the previous time.
DAY 1 – Monday 9.10.23

At 1:10 am flight to Brisbane landing at 5:15 am with JetStar and than at 11:35 am flying to Nadi and landing at 17:10 pm took a taxi to the villa and we had dinner at Smugglers Cove and relax and than we went back to the accommodation to sleep.
DAY 2 – Tuesday 10.10.23

Wake up at 6:30 am walking to Smuggler and being there at 7:15 am for the bus to Port Denaru at 9:00 am boat to Tresure Island with South Sea Cruise. Once we got in the island we did the Fiji day celebration and tea time then we went to sleep a bit in the moon and then we took a walk around the island. Later on we enjoyed the sunset by the pool and we had dinner while the local people were dancing and singing for us.
DAY 3 – Wednesday 11.10.23

Woke up at 8:30 am renting a kayak and we decided to go to a private sandbar where we could chill and enjoy, than we went back had lunch and chilling in the noon and spending again the evening by the pool enjoying the sunset and had dinner there.
DAY 4 – Thursday 12.10.23

Woke up at 5 am watch the sunrise and than getting ready to leave the island after breakfast which we took the boat to Nadi with South Sea Cruise at 9:45 am then get a taxi to the airport and leaving Nadi at 14:30 pm to Port Vila landing at 16:05 pm. Once we got there we get the shuttle to the property, the weather wasn’t the best but we enjoyed a bit and had dinner there and then we went to sleep.
DAY 5 – Friday 13.10.23

We woke up and unfortunately the water was bad so we just chilled all the and basically did nothing just in the evening we went to the beach to watch a fire show at The Beach Bar and than we went back to the accommodation to sleep.
DAY 6 – Saturday 14.10.23

Woke up early in the morning do to breakfast and than we got picked up at near the accommodation to do a day tour of the island that we booked online with :
It was a nice tour a bit short for the price but we got an idea about the island at least, and then we went to the markets in the city and on the way back we we grab a share mini bus back to the accommodation and in the evening we had dinner at the restaurant of the accommodation by the beach and than we went to sleep.
DAY 7 – Sunday 15.10.23

Pick up at 7:45 am at the hotel to Tranquility Resort, which first we went up north to the island stopped there at Havanna port where we took the ferry to the Eco resort. The island was amazing, all wild island just for this Resort basically, our little house was beautiful as well and we had lunch there and than chilled and takes pics in the noon and than have dinner with the other people of the place.
DAY 8 – Monday 16.10.23

Woke up early had breakfast and than we took the lunch with us and we decided to go for a hike to visit and other beach in the island, it was amazing and we were literally the only people in there literally like a paradise. After we walk back to the accommodation and we got on the boat around 4 pm to go back to Port Havanna and than the shuttle to the airport which we had the flight at 21:55 pm to Noumea with Aircalin landing at 23:00 pm and from there we went to the accommodation to sleep immediately.
DAY 9 – Tuesday 17.10.22

We woke up early had breakfast at Lemon Bay Cafe and then I took a taxi to Port Moselle boat at 9 am pier K0 to go on the boat to get transfer to Ilot Maitre. Once we got there we did the check in and but actually was too early so we went for lunch and than we went to the bedroom to chill since the weather wasn’t very good actually and than for dinner we did room service a nice hot bath and watch tv.
DAY 10 – Wednesday 18.10.22

Woke up early had breakfast at the hotel in the island than we took few pics since the weather was getting better but than we had to leave the island at 2 pm to go back to the main island and from there we had the bus directly to airport to flight with Qantas at 17:05 pm landing in Brisbane at 18:40 pm doing a little layover where we could have dinner and then we board for the second flight again with Qantas to Darwin at 20:45 pm and we landed at 00:35 am.
