Washington DC, NYC and Boston 2022

DAY 1 – Saturday  11.06.22 

( Night at: U Street Capsule Hostel, Washington DC ) 

( The White House, Washington DC ) 

I woke up at 9 am I went downstairs I tried to to a breakfast but a member of the staff started to jell at me so I went to my room I packed I left my things in the storage and than I went out, I walked around New Orleans for the last time it was nice but very warm I get inside of the St. Luis Cathedral and walked around eat something and than by 1 pm I went back to the hostel I picked up my stuff and I walk to get the bus to go to the airport. Is pretty far the airport but well I left earlier because the ride took me over an hour. My flight is at 5:25 pm once I get to the airport I bought a sandwich at Starbucks and I eat it while I was waiting for my flight. The flight wasn’t the best a lot of turbulence unfortunately but it was only two hours flight luckily. I landed almost at 9 pm I waited for the luggage and than I went to find the metro but first I had to catch a bus and than the metro and for 10$ with the car included I could get to the hostel and I immediately went to sleep.

DAY 2 – Sunday 12.06.22

( United States Capitol, Washington DC ) 

I woke up at 9 am I went to McDonald’s to have breakfast and than I took the bus to visit the White House but unfortunately was very cloudy in the morning, anyway I keep walking around I visit St. Patrick Cathedral which is really beautiful that I keep walking till the National Building museum which it was pretty interesting with the temporary exhibition of Alan Karchmer. Later on when I get out of the museum the was was very nice and sunny fortunately so I walk to the Capitol passing by Pride event which it was in front of the capitol pretty nice I liked it, there were stand, music, drag queen going the shows. Than I walk to the Capitol but I didn’t get inside because on Sunday is closed and I walked through the United States Botanical garden and getting an hot dog on the way for lunch and than walk till the Washington memorial and the World War II Memorial. The weather at this point was very beautiful so I took the bus to go back to the White House to take few more pic with a nice weather which was definitely better and it’s really beautiful actually a bit smaller than what’s looks like in tv, from there I walked back to the Pride event passing and stopping by Starbucks to get something to eat and charge my phone. It was a really nice and chill event but being alone I got bored so I went back to the hostel around 8 pm to sleep and plan everything for the day after. 

DAY 3 – Monday 13.06.22

( Night at: Q4 Hotel, Long Island )

I woke up at 10 am I went to the McDonald’s in front of the hostel to get something to eat and than I took the bus to to visit the Lincoln Memorial. I took few photos around and it was very warm I couldn’t really walk around, crazy warm weather. After I took again an other bus to go back to the hostel to get my luggage and I went to the Flixbus station a bit earlier and than the bus left at 3:30 pm. It was a really easy ride, quite long but I didn’t even feeling it honestly. I’ve crossed Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. It was crazy crossing so many states just in few hours but well the landscape wasn’t nothing impressive, I met a German girl while I was waiting for the bus so we chatted a bit and than when we arrived at the Flixbus stop in NYC Midtown and we went to eat something at KFC together and than I took the metro to go at my hostel to check in take a shower and sleep.
