Two weeks between LA and SD 2022
It was one of my dream go to Los Angeles, all the tv series r filmed there and specially the L world that I’ve seen recently was filmed there, it seems amazing always summer, surfing vibes and plan trees, looks like a paradise than have got Beverly Hills all those house owned by actors and plus there is a huge LGBT community in California.
DAY 1 – Wednesday 04.05.22

I woke up at 7:30 am and I went to catch the Flixbus in downtown Vegas but before I passed by a seven 11 to get the breakfast. I had to walk like 20 minutes and I got there a bit too early so I had to wait the bus station till the bus arrived a bit in late at 9:35 am, it was disgusting actually I couldn’t believe, the bus full of homeless and Latina the driver got crazy to make everyone shout up and quit lucky I got a chill Latina girl next to me and I could relax during the way, actually not really because I did all the bookings for Hawaii and the next trips also for the summer with my mum. We did a quick stop to buy something to eat and walk a bit and than we arrived in Los Angeles at 4 pm even if I supposed to arrived at 3:10 pm a bit later. From LA downtown I catch the metro to Hollywood the neighbourhood where I was staying, well I got shocked like full of homeless everywhere, pretty bad situation I knew it but I didn’t expect that much, the Walk of Fame is pretty dirty and disgusting. Well I drop off my luggage in the room and I went out to walk in the direction of Sunset Blv, to see the sunset on the street with the palm trees and the beautiful cars, it was beautiful totally LA vibes, when it gets dark was very cold so I went back quick, I stopped at the shop down from the hostel to get a slice of pizza and I went to sleep very tired from the long day.
DAY 2 – Thursday 05.05.22

I woke up early at 8 am I did the breakfast in the hostel and I got ready for a tour of the celebrity houses in Beverly Hills and surrounding, I booked the tour thru Get Your Guide e luckily was departing right next to the corner from my hostel. After the tour I went to a mall in the walk of Fame street to check the Hollywood Sign from far away and I went with one girl of my tour since out your guide suggested it. Than I went to McDonald’s for lunch I went back to the hostel I changed and I called an Uber to go to the Hollywood sign it was very easy I didn’t even have to walk I just went to the hill to take few photos it was super warm impossible to stay longer and than I walk down to catch the bus to come back to the hostel to get ready by 7pm to go to see Netflix is a joke presented by Snoop Dogg it was an interesting comedy and I could see him in the reality on the stage just few meters away from me. Later I just went back to the hostel to sleep.
DAY 3 – Friday 06.05.22

I woke up at 8 am I was very tired and a bit lazy I took a shower and I got ready to take the bus and go to explore the Beverly Hills area, well I saw it yesterday during the tour but I wanted to walk around and explore it a bit better, I went to the Four Season Hotel I took few photos than I stayed in the fashion design district Rodeo Drive and from there I walked to the Beverly Hills sign, I stopped there resting a bit while eating blueberries and than I keep walking to the Beverly Hills Hotel which is absolutely amazing stunning hotel that I’ve the chance to explore it around loved it definitely and than from there I took the bus to come back to the hostel because I had to get some warm clothes, change than get the subway and go to Santa Monica Pier to explore and see how it is, it was really nice the sunset there bus very freezing in May I thought was warmer actually but anyways I liked it and than I took the tram to come back to the hostel and I went to sleep.
DAY 4 – Saturday 07.05.22

I woke up at 8 am I did the breakfast, did the check out and than I went downstairs to the walk of fame and I took few photos, than I get into the metro and I went to The Getty the museum it was free and very nice I loved it and than I had lunch there later on I took the bus again and I went back to Beverly Hills well I just passed by to take couples of pictures again specially with the Beverly Hills Sign and than I went back in Hollywood where I took my stuff and I went to take the metro to go down to Santa Monica, check in into the hostel and than I just stayed in the bed relaxing and than sleep.
DAY 5 – Sunday 08.05.22

( Venice Beach, Los Angeles )
I woke up early and I called my mum while I was going to Starbucks and and than I walked a bit around Santa Monica till I started the walk to Venice beach all long there stopping just to take few pics and than I stopped in a random place to eat a burger outside the weather was nice a bit too windy and than I keep walking till the Venice Canals which it was a very nice surprise actually I really liked it and on the way back I Venice beach I stopped at the Venice Cafe Gelato and Ice cream to get an ice-cream and than I went back to the hostel very tired from the long walk of the day and the wind that makes me almost sick.
DAY 6 – Monday 09.05.22

( Malibù, Los Angeles )
I woke up early and I decided to go to Malibu so I took the bus which it takes like an hour and takes u there, once I get there I went to the Malibu State Beach it was very very windy unfortunately so I walked bit more to the beach next to Malibu Pier that I could stayed there and enjoyed a bit while I was taking pictures than I went on the Pier to get something to eat but was too windy so I just went back there was the bus stop and I went to Whole Foods Market to get same sushi and than I took the bus back to Santa Monica. Once I get to the hostel I took a shower and I get ready to go out I book an Uber and I went to Cecconi Restaurant where I always wanted to go but never been, it’s a very fancy restaurant. I had an amazing Italian dinner honestly and than around 11 pm I walk till Poppy a club where I met the promoter and gets me in for the night at the table, it was very nice met other girls and we party together till closing so till 2 am, yea I was shocked about the early time of closing actually I didn’t know that at all. On the way out I met a israelian guy that talked to me and order me an Uber back to the hostel so I went back to sleep.
DAY 7 – Tuesday 10.06.22

I woke up at 10:30 am a bit in hangover even if I haven’t drunk much, and I prepared everything, did the check out and I called an uber to get something to eat I just stayed at the hostel waiting fo the time to get the train to the bus stop where at 4:15 pm I had my Flixbus to San Diego which I arrived at 7:20 pm, and I had to meet a girl well she had to come to pick me up and I met on tinder few days ago, so she was bit in late due to her job and I took a walk to the Old Town of San Diego and than when she comes to pick me up we went for a dinner in American random place and than she bring me to her house and I stayed at her place for few nights and she was very nice.
DAY 8 – Wednesday 11.07.22

( Baseball game Padres SD vs Cubs Chicago )
I woke up later than her because she has to go to work early and I could stay in bed a bit longer and when I woke up I played with the dog of her flatmate and than she texted me that it should be a Baseball game in the city at lunch time, Padres the SD team against Clubs which is Boston. So I took an Uber to the Petco Park where is the the match and once I got there I get a slice of pizza and than I sit next few girls to watch the game I stayed there like two hours than it gets a bit too boring so I left and I went to take the bus to go at Balboa Park which is one of the most important attraction and to see the Alcazar Garden and around 6 pm C when she finished works comes to pick me up and we went home to get ready to go to Tijuana. So we took showers and we got ready to take an uber and go to the border with Mexico and once we ll cross the border there will be a friend of C waiting for us and we ll take a a bus to the city centre, and we went fo dinner in a bar in Av. Revolution which is the most popular street, we eat Mexican I got some tacos and than we decided to go all three together in the most popular strip club of the city called Hong Kong Gentleman’s Club, we stayed there quite long, well basically all night just drinking and watching the show it was okay even if it was a bit disgusting honestly but well it was an experience and than around 3 am we went home well we ordered a uber to the border we crossed the border by walk and than we took an other uber and finally me an Christina we got in Chula Vista that’s the neighbourhood where she lived.
DAY 9 – Thursday 12.07.22

We woke up a bit later than used, I went we her to the barber shop because she has to cu her her and than we went for lunch in the gay area of SD at Gossip Girl and we get a burger there and than we went to Mission Beach for a walk since it was a nice day and we walked till Pacific beach at the pier and than we went back to the car for the sunset, well it was a very nice and relaxing noon I totally enjoyed and we had the time to get to know each other as well. Than we went home we took a shower we changed, we eat something and we decided to go out again in the Gay district in a club at Rich’s and than we went to Flicks which we had fun together actually I got pretty drunk I don’t eve know how and she was sober basically because she had to drive. Anyway we went home kind of early around 3 am.
DAY 10 – Friday 13.07.22

We had to wake up pretty early, because Christine has to go to Vegas for work so she dropped me off at the hostel around 10 am so I just stayed at the hostel chill a bit and arranging photos and organise the program for those days by myself. Than I decided to go out so I went to Ralphs which is a very nice supermarket and I got something to eat there for brunch/lunch and than I decided to walk around ti the waterfront park all along there on the boardwalk which it was very nice and relaxing while I was taking pictures and than I went back to the hostel I did the check in, I chilled a bit and than I took the bus to go to watch the sunset at the Sunset Cliff which it was absolutely amazing I totally loved it and than I took the tram back to the hostel, the transportation are the same as in LA really bad is better to drive but well, it was okay. Once I got back to the hostel I had my roommate on the phone without stopping so I asked to changed the room and I got very mad about just because I was very tired probably.
DAY 11 – Saturday 14.05.22

( La Jolla Cove, San Diego )
I woke up early like at 8 am fortunately my roommate haven’t shows up so I had the room all for myself and I decided to explore same part of SD so I went for a breakfast at Cafe Gratitude while I called my mum and then I walked around the district which is Little Italy, it was pretty nice with all the markets, nice weather outside you could totally feel the spring vibes in the atmosphere. Than I decided to take the bus to go at La Jolla to visit it because everyone talk about that area of the city and actually it was very beautiful I could even see the seals in one area of the park and than abviously I watched the sunset there and was magical, than I took the bus back to the city and I went to sleep.
DAY 12 – Sunday 15.05.22

I woke up at 9 am very tired I couldn’t sleep very well unfortunately so I just wanted to sleep and relax all day, but well I went downstairs to extend two more night and than I come back to the room to get ready unfortunately the weather isn’t the best today a bit windy and foggy but well, I went to Ralph’s to get something to eat and than I walked to harbour to Fifth Avenue landing and I took a ferry from the to Coronado peninsula one I arrived I walked to the opposite side to the beach it was an half an hour walk but absolutely worth it, the houses there were beautiful and the hole atmosphere as well I totally enjoyed it. Once I arrived on the beach I eat the cherry that I got from the supermarket this morning and I lay down to relax and enjoy the sun it was warm but also very windy like most of the places here in Cali. After I walked back and I went to take the ferry around 5 pm, in the city I stopped at the Candy Store and than I went back to the hostel to take a shower and get ready to go out at Wolfie’s Carousel for dinner, which the dinner actually was pretty bad the quality of the food but it was absolutely an experience and I totally loved it, it was a nice evening to treat a bit myself.
DAY 13 – Monday 16.05.22

( Ocean Beach, San Diego )
I woke up at 9:30 am I stayed in the bed a longer and a bit tired actually than I got ready I took the bus and I went to Walking on the Water cafe in Ocean Beach north of San Diego to have breakfast but unfortunately the wether was pretty bad very cloudy so I stayed there a bit I called a friend and than I took the bus back to the city. I did a little walk in the city and than I went back to the hostel to pack everything rest and organising my stuff and I order KFC for dinner for the lat meal in SD and than I went to sleep because I had to wake up very early the day after.
DAY 14 – Tuesday 17.05.22

( On the plane to Hawaii with Southwest airline )
I woke up at 5 am, got ready, finished the luggage and I took an Uber to go to the airport to be there quickly because I was afraid to be in late but well actually it was very easy the airport was very quiet well is divided by air company so it doesn’t get’s to busy. I did the check in by myself and than I dropped the backpack and I went to the gate to wait for the plane, we take off at 7:30 am and it will take 6 hours to arrive in Kahului ( Maui ) where I have a connection flight to Honolulu ( Oahu ). The flight went very well everyone told that it can be really bumping due to the high turbulence when u r flying on the Pacific Ocean. And I finally landed in Oahu at 2 pm I pick up my backpack and I went to search for a public buses to go to Waikiki I couldn’t fined it but I find a random woman that she took the there in front of the hostel for 10$ so I did it. Once I arrived at the hostel I did the check in I changed and I went to the Waikiki beach, fist I bought a coconut, it wasn’t the best but well I enjoyed the atmosphere I walked all over taking photos and than I watched the sunset. It was absolutely amazing. Than I stopped my Burger King I grabbed a burger and I went back to the hostel to sleep I was very tired from the day.
San Francisco 2022
DAY 1 – Thursday 26.05.22

( Maiden Lane, San Francisco )
I landed in San Francisco at 7 am with time zone from Hawaii so basically I haven’t slept anything, I was so tired and I felt also a bit sick in the pat days but anyway I pick up my luggage and I went to take the train to the city to leave my backpack at the hostel. I arrived at Powell street station and I walk till Amsterdam Hostel it was very nice I could see immediately the San Francisco atmosphere with all those little streets up and down was very nice I loved it. Right in front of the Metro there are the cable cars so carteristic. I left my things at the hostel, I passed by a supermarket to get something to eat and than I walk around passing in the Cow Hollow hoods, Marina district and Presidio of San Francisco, the weather was really bad unfortunately, very cloudy and cold like 14 degree and I didn’t have proper clothes for those temperatures, and was very very windy. I made it through Golden gate beach it was absolutely beautiful even if it was cloudy I really liked this bridge. Than I took a bus to come back in downtown and I passed by Chinatown and once I got in downtown I went to Westfield to buy some clothes for winter and for the next days. At 3 pm I went back to the hostel and I fell asleep immediately I was absolutely tired, and in the evening I woke up for few hours but well I stayed in the bed just chill and relaxing and than sleep again.
DAY 2 – Friday 27.05.22

( The Painted Houses, San Francisco )
I woke up at 9 am I got ready and I went to grab something to eat at CVS and than I took the bus to the Golden Gate Postcard Viewpoint, unfortunately also today was cloudy so I but we’ll i try ed anyway to explore the city as much as I could, so after I took a bus and I walk around Pacific Heights which is a really nice neighbourhood with typical San Francisco houses, and I walk till The Painted Houses and one I got there I chill and enjoy the view there, it wasn’t so cold was just cloudy. After I went to Mission District but it didn’t seems very safe so I went back to downtown check around eat something and I got ready to met Gabriele. I went where he lives around 7:30 pm and went to eat something at The Snug it was really nice see him again, talking about his life in San Francisco, how the things are working in the US a bit of everything. And than after the dinner we went to Palmer’s Tavern to get two drinks and we organised to go to Napa Valley together on Sunday.
DAY 3 – Saturday 28.05.22

I couldn’t sleep well i the night I had a really bad stomachache, it was very painful so I woke up at 11 am, my body very sore and I was very exhausted, but obviously I wanted to try to make to the best out of the days so I took the bus and I went to the Fisherman’s Wharf I walked around and I took few photos there and the weather actually was pretty nice and than I took an other bus and I decided to visit the Golden Gate Park which is very nice, relaxing with artist playing instruments and painting. I really loved it even if I was very exhausted. Later on I went back to the hostel because around 6 pm the weather wasn’t so good, I wanted to go to watch the sunset but was cloudy, Gabriele invited me to go out with his friends but I was too tired so I just went to sleep very early.
DAY 4 – Sunday 29.05.22
( Night at: Orange Village Hostel, San Francisco )
( Chandon Winery, Napa Valley )
I woke up at 8 am I got ready went to Starbucks for breakfast and I took the bus to meet Gabriele at 10 am near Pier 33 where we are picking up the car rented and we started the road to Napa Valley, so on the way I started to call the wineries and first we decided to stop at Napa Valley Tasting Barn which it was really nice I totally like it but it was a bit expensive. Than we decided to for for lunch and we went at Bistro Don Giovanni an Italian restaurant very famous in the area and we really had a good lunch actually. After we kept going for the wine testing and we went at Chandon Winery which it was absolutely amazing actually we totally enjoy a glass of wine and relaxed in the nice atmosphere and than we tried to go at Castello di Amorosa even it was a bit late, actually it was closed but I really wanted to visit it so we just get in and we visited outside only because inside was already closed. Than we made our way back to SF and for the sunset we stopped at Baker Beach, it was absolutely amazing I totally loved it, what a magic atmosphere just the weather was bit too cold unfortunately and very windy. Than Gabriele dropped me off and we said good bye and I can say that it was a very nice day.
DAY 5 – Monday 30.05.22

( Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco )
I woke up and I did the check out and I went to the hotel to drop of my backpack and than I took the bus to Battery Spancer, which is an amazing place to see the Golden Gate Bridge and I styed there a bit taking pictures and walking while I was organising to see Christina that her college drop her off at Equator Caffees where we get a sandwich for lunch and than we went for a walk since it a very nice day so we went to Marshall’s Beach and from there after relaxing on the need beach for a bit we took an Uber back to the Chancellor Hotel we took a shower we got ready and we went to eat Thai just five minutes from the hotel unfortunately it wasn’t the best but still it was okay and from there we decided to go out so we went at The Castro which is the gay district of San Francisco and we went on a gay bar we had few drinks and than we went back to the Hotel.
DAY 6 – Tuesday 31.05.22

( Alcatraz Island, San Francisco )
We woke up at 8 am and we went to the bar next to the hotel well also suggested from the hotel to have breakfast and than we took an uber to go to take the ferry to visit Alcatraz island, the boat left at 10:30 am and to get into Alcatraz is just few minutes not too far and once we get there we took an audio guide and we started to walk around all the island and inside of the building to see the cellar the kitchen the common spaces all of it and than at 1:30 pm we took the ferry back to SF and we went for lunch at Bubba Gum lunch, I didn’t know what it was but apparently is really famous in America and than we walked around and we went to watch the Sea Lions at Pier 39and chill and than we walked to Lombard street, which is a really nice street and than we walked back to the Hotel totally tired so we didn’t even went out in the evening.
DAY 7 – Wednesday 01.05.22

Left the room around 11:30 am we went outside in Union Square and well the sun up but not too warm like 18 degree Celsius and pride flag all over or in few buildings they were put them on, walking hand in hand with C. the girl that I was with it was really nice, I don’t know why but all the time that I’m with a gils doing daily random things I feel like a teenager and it feels amazing honestly I wish I could find a partner tat makes me fells like that. For lunch we stopped at The Cheesecake Factory for lunch which it was a very nice place I liked it even if I wasn’t very feeling it, I had a massive headache. Before leave SF we stopped at Amorino for an Italian ice cream. Than we went back to the hotel packed everything quick and we went to take the Bart together at Powell Street Station. We arrived at airport really earlier and we were in two different terminal since she was flying with United and I was with Delta so, we stayed together talking a bit it was very nice actually and then we said goodbye and I walk to the terminal 2 where I drop off my bag, I passed the controls and I get into the gate. I had no time waiting so I got into the plane immediately basically and blessed there were the screen so I decided to watch the house of Gucci while they were giving sneaks. At 8 pm I landed at the airport of Salt Lake City, I already knew that the next flight is in late schedule at 10:35 pm instead of 9:05 pm so I went to Starbucks I got something to eat and thank I walked around till I went to the gate to wait for the flight. Unfortunately they announced more delayed at 11:20 pm, I got in the plane a lot of kids crying around but I got the heart plugs so I could keep watching a move unfortunately I couldn’t finish The House of Gucci it wasn’t on the screen so I watched Couples Retreat which it was a smooth comedy. At 2:40 am luckily I landed in San Antonio I was very tired, I just called an Uber and I went to sleep immediately which it was very late after 3 am. I got a room because it was the only solution in San Antonio there are no hostels so it was a bit expensive and I had to book a room next to the hotel so at least the Uber was cheap.
