Than once I got in the airport I took a little train that’s gonna take you inside of the airport and than I went to the counter G to do the check in fortunately the day before I did the covid test in Mimi Beach which it was free and than I did the Bahamas Travel Health Visa, which it cost 50$ and it was mandatory, after showing that docs I pay 25$ with Bahamas air for the backpack and than I went to the gate to wait the flight, I went there a bit too early I had to wait more than an hour because my flight was at 9:45 am but it was okay, and than I board on the plane. The flight was very short actually and a bit of turbulence. Once I landed I didn’t know what to do well I check the Uber and there is no Uber I checked the bus and so I went at the bus stop waiting for it under the sun for like half an hour and than a man stopped and ask me if I wanted a lift to my hostel and desperate i said yes and turned out that he’s really nice and he owns a tour company and the do the tours in Exuma Island so we exchange the contact and I was very thankful to him. Than i arrived at the hostel and unfortunately the bed wasn’t reserved because the booking processes didn’t went thru but fortunately they had a spare bad soni could check in and I put the swimsuit on and I immediately went to eat something because I was very starving from the travel. I stopped at Anthony’s Seafood and Ribs for a burger and than I walked till Cabagge becah where I relaxed and chilled there and I also meet Valentina a Colombin Canadian girls where we talk a bit and we drink a bit of coco water during the sunset well a bit before because then I walked back to the hostel before was dark and seems a bit dangerous that area walk around by night, and I went straight to sleep.

DAY 4 – Friday 29.04.22

( Night at: Hillcrest hostel, Nassau )

( At Pig Island, playing with the pigs, Bahamas )

I woke up at 7 am and I went to Paradise island Pier where the boat will leave, I was so lucky meeting this guys that offered me Thi stour for only 100$ instead of 400$. The company name is Borne Free which I totally raccomand it. Set off from the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal heading southeast for just over one hour until you arrive at Allen’s Cay. Here you will interact with the Bahamian Rock Iguanas that call this small island home. This species of lizard can be found nowhere else in the world other than three small islands in Exuma. Next you will ride south through the Exuma Cays to Compass Cay where the nurse sharks are not shy, and welcome thousands of visitors per year to their home under the docks of Compass Cay Marina. Once you’ve finished your shark swim, you will move on to your next stop, Big Major’s Cay the home of the now world famous swimming pigs! These pigs have made their way around the world thanks to shows like ABC’s The Bachelor and many social media influencers who have visited the pigs here and have shared their experiences with millions of followers. Here you will have the opportunity to feed and swim with pigs. Don’t forget to take photos! At this point we know you have worked up an appetite, next you will be off on a quick ride to lunch. Enjoy a delicious lunch and a cold drink at a local Exuma restaurant before getting back on the boat. Next you will have the chance to snorkel at a plane wreck known famously as “Pablo Escobar’s sunken plane”. The plane crashed in at this spot just off Norman’s Cay in the late 1970’s supposedly filled with cocaine.  During this time, Pablo Escobar had taken control of Norman’s Cay and its small runway to utilize it as a home base and refueling point for the planes that were running cocaine from Mexico to the U.S. After you’ve snorkeled  you will be off to your last stop for the day which will be a beautiful sandbar or beach for swimming, sunbathing, and more photo taking. Once I got back in paradise island I went to Atlantis where they to the Covid test for free and from there I went back to the hostel and I went to sleep very tired from the mazing day.

DAY 5 – Saturday 30.04.22

( Night at: Bungalows Hostel, Las Vegas )

( Up on the sky looking at Paradise Island, Nassau )

Well it was the last day in Nassau so I walked to the beach to paradise island stopping at Starbucks for a Bacon Eggs sandwich and lemon iced tea enjoy the yacht at Atlantis village. I woke up very early in the morning so enjoy the Caribbean Sea vibes for the last time chilling a bit at Cabbage beach and I walk through Atlantis on the way back. Once I got at the hostel I called the taxi driver the woman that my roommate give me the number because there is no Uber in Nassau, she comes to pick me up and take me to the airport I was a bit in late actually and I was stressing because I couldn’t miss my both flights. Fortunately everything when well and I could catch the first flight at 3:15 pm to Denver Colorado, it was a really smooth flight, like 5 hours but the view was incredible a totally enjoyed. Than I arrived in Denver during the landing the plane was shaking a lot due to the strong wind, I didn’t know that honestly, thanks to this trip I’m learning a lot of things of US that I couldn’t even imagine before. Anyway in Denver I’ve got like almost two hours the airport was absolutely huge and I was a bit hungry even if I eat few snacks on the plane so I went to McDonald’s and I eat while I was waiting for my second flight. I catch the second flight at 7:25 pm, again window seat and the view was absolutely beautiful, there were huge mountains with snow it was a totally surprise I didn’t know that about Colorado and Nevada. Finally I landed in Vegas like at 8:15 pm both of the flights were with United, absolutely can’t complain the flight was very smooth and the extra luggage only 30$. Once I pick up my luggage I called an Uber to go to the hostel and I went straight to the bed to sleep.
