Exchange programme in Riga 2017

From the 17th September 2017 to the 26th of June 2018. I lived ten months in the capital of the Baltic states, I studied in the university of business and finance Banku August where I did I total 14th exam some for the master and some for my bachelor degree because that’s was my fourth year of bachelor and in Italy the bachelor degree actually is only three years but some of my exam where missing. And instead of my university I tried to learn a bit of Russian but is super difficult and I met a lot of super nice person that I hope they will stay forever in my life, in my university Banku augstskola I had two different group from the first and the second semester totally different person but both of them super nice. I was living in a residence with 20 person more less all of them super great personality and from a lot of different country and different type of university, I choose a triple bedroom and for all of ten mothers for my first time in my life this Longo period I live with my Spanish roomie Almu, in the first semester we changed three different roommate and i the spring move in our bedroom a French girl Jeanne that she was also living in our residence from September but in an other bedroom. After all of those amazing aspect of that year I travelled a lot first of all in Latvia almost around all the country later on in Lithuania and Estonia two times. With the esn Riga I travelled also in St.Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm and Lapland. And with my friends in Poland ( Warsaw and Cracow ), Norway ( Bergen and Oslo). After I come back one week in Portugal with my friend Lucrezia, and I went to visit my friend Chiara before easter that she’s studying in Winchester. And with a big surprise for the fist time come to visit me my mother at the begging of June from the 5th to the 12th. Was an amazing year I learn a lot a i meet wonderful person, wasn’t easy at all but for sure one of my favorite experience and here I will explain the first and the second semester because I can’t write everything here and actually the two semester were completely different so I preferred separate them and write as much as I can in the details.

DAY 1 – Wednesday 11.10.2017

“The boat view from Tallinn to Helsinkin”

I left my home the Valdemara residence with my flatmate from Portugal at 4:30 am I arrived at  the meeting at 5 am to pick up the bus to Tallin, it’s take 4 hours of ride until the port of Tallin where we took a ferry to Helsinki.

15:30  Meeting at Helsinki West Terminal (Länsisatama). Timetravels representatives hand out the programs, cabin cards. After we went in a bar for have a snack  with the guide of ESN Riga and after we come back to the port.

19:00  M/S Princess Anastasia departs from Helsinki to St. Petersburg.

We had a dinner in the cafe, we drink in a different bedroom and after we went to the club “Columbus” until 1 am, I was in the cabin with 3 girls one from Turkey, Austria and Bulgaria.

DAY 2 – Thursday 12.10.2017

09:00 We arrived in St Petersburg, we wake up at 11:30 we went on the deck to have a breakfast like some food that we bought before, later packing the suitcase and get out of the boat.

14:00  Disembarking from the ferry & passport control.  To qualify for a 72 hour VISA FREE visit.

I went alone in the bus 7 with ESN Lund probably, because there isn’t anymore space in the group ESN Riga.

I bought all of my activities that I bought all of them just not the ballet because was 50€.

So I add:

• Russian dinner
• Limo tour
• Canals tour
• Church’s tour
• Catherine palace tour

15:30 Guided city tour. Get to know the famous city sights:

• The Spit of the St Basil Island
• Nevsky prospect, etc.
• Peter & Paul fortress

18:00  Check-in at the hostel I met my roomate before in the bus she’s come from Belgium and she’s an Erasmus student in Copenhagen.

20:30  Meeting at the hotel lobby. Departure to Russian Dinner party, traditional Russian Evening – Show and Dinner.

After we stayed  in the center for clubbing all the three night, in those clubs:

DAY 3 – Friday, 13.10.2017

Alarm at 8:20 breakfast on the street in one  of backery in the hostel street. 09:30 Guided bus excursion to Pushkin, Catherine’s Palace in “Village of the Tsars”. Location 30 km away from the city. Afterwards free time in the Catherine’s park.

13:30 Departure from Pushkin back to the hotel.

Arrival to the hotel approx. 15:00, after we had some free time so we walked around the city until the park and the church of the Savior on blood.

23:30    Limousine tour with sparking wine, duration 1,5 hour. After-party in a nightclub.

In the hostel at 3 am, the way back to the hostel we alway took the taxi that they not soo expensive.

DAY 4 – Saturday, 14.10.2017

Alarm at 9:20 am.

At 10:15 am Departure to Hermitage Museum.  Guided tour of the State Hermitage Museum. Duration apx. 2 hours. After the tour you may stay in the museum or have a lunch or a walk in the city. 

We had a lunch in the fist bar that we found bcause we didn’t have a lot of time.

Includes visit to the most beautiful cathedrals of St. Petersburg:

• – Nikol’skyj Cathedral
• -St Isaac’s Cathedral (la prima)
• -Cathedral on the Spilled Blood

Overall duration of the program 3 hours, come back in the hostel.

20:30 Meeting at the hostel lobby. Departure to The night cruise on Rivers and Canals. And after clubbing in the city center.

DAY 5 –Sunday, 15.10.2017

DAY 6 – Monday, 16.10.2017

7:00 Arrival in Helsinki. Debarking, Finnish customs and passport control. The ferry continues to Tallinn, and after the bus to come back in Riga.

4th – 5th November 2017 trip to Kurzeme with ESN Riga

Kurzeme is one of the four historical regions of Latvia, located in the western part of Latvia. It is well known for its small yet beautiful cities and its varied nature.

Day 1:

7:30 meetin point, departure to  Kuldīga, Ventas fall known for the widest waterfall in Europe, later we visited Jūrkalne beautiful coastal cliffs up to 20m high.

We made a stop in the Northern forts before visiting the Karosta prison with a live experience as a prisoner. And later in the night we all enjoyed the nightlife of Liepāja at fontaine Palace.

Day 2:

9:00 am breakfast and check out, and city tour in Liepaja.

In the afternoon we visited the misterious abandoned village Skrunda.

Around 8 pm we arrived back in Riga.

Trip from the 12.11 to the 14.11 for the erasmus student of Riga, called ” Pirates of the Baltic Sea ” a boat full of Erasmus student from all the north countries again organized by https://www.timetravels.fi/ lik the trip to St.Petersburg and Lapland.

DAY 1 – Sunday 12.11.2017

( me at the Senate square of Helsinki )At 01:30 amDeparture from Riga,5 Aspazijas blvd, at 06:15 am Gathering at Tallinn D-Terminal lobby and than we change it 07:30 am Departure with Ferry towards Helsinki.Once we arrived in Helsinki we did a tour of the city with a guide, that she bring us in differents part of the city, like next to the sea an old tea house than a shopping center and to finish in the Senate square of the city wih the Helsinki Cathedral.We had a lunch in a cafè on the way to come back to the ferry.At 16:45 pm the ship departs to Stockholm, we spent all the night in the ship drinking and clubbing.All night there is a Midnight Show organized by Silja Line in the Atlantis Palace and after that the DJ is playing until early morning hours in both New York Club and Atlantis Palace.DAY 2 – Monday 12.11.2017

Once we  get out of the boat we did a guided tours around Stockholm, where we visit the Big Square the little street around there, the port and we went up to see the city, like view point. At 16:00 boarding gate of the ship closes, at 16:45 the ship departs to Helsinki.All night there is a Midnight Show organized by Silja Line in the Atlantis Palace and after that the DJ is playing until early morning hours in both New York Club and Atlantis Palace.DAY 3 – 13.11.2017

We decided to do a trip to Vilnius, me, Giulia, Daniela, Gabriele, Toby and Hadrien, we rented an airbnb in the Center of Vilnius and then we went and go back with a bus from Riga, that’s the same distance to Tallin, around 4 hours both.

DAY 1 – Friday 17.11.2017

At 11:00 am we departe to Vilnius and we arrived at 15:05 pm with Ecolines.

We took a Taxify to go to our apartment and than we walk a bit in the main square and we went to the supermarket to buy something for dinner and to drink and than we went out Coca-Inn club.

DAY 2 –  Saturday 18.11.2017

We woke up early, kind of, to visit the city. We started to do a breakfast and then we visit the Chatedral of Vilnius, than we climbed to the Gediminas tower but unfortunately was close so we walked to the three Crosses Monument. Later on we come back in the down town and we stopped for a lunch and than we keep exploring the city and walk around.

We went out for a dinner and than we went to Salento club.

DAY 3 – Sunday 19.11.2017

We walk up a bit late and we did the last walk around the center, than we had a lunch in a typical restaurant Lithuanian, we did the check -out of our Aribnb.

At  18:00 pm we depart from Vilnius and we arrived in Riga at 21:55 pm with Ecolines bus.

Lapland from 28th November to 4th December

DAY 1 – Tuesday 28.11.2017

This trip has a very long travel journey, basically a day of travel to go and one to come back, from Riga Latvia trought Estonia by bus after across the baltic sea with ferry and once arrived in Finland by bus to the Saariselka village.

So daparture was at 10.30 am at Riga 5 Aspazijas blvd. (University of Latvia Faculty of Economics and Management), from there we went to Tallinn by bus that it’s around 5 hours and at 6 pm from Tallin we took the boat (Viking Line) to Helsinki and from there around 9 pm we took an other bus till the next stop in Rauna Zoo in Rovaniemi.

THE RANUA ZOO , SANTA CLAUS VILLAGE , ARRIVAL IN THE DESTINATION

At 9.00 am we arrived at the Rauna zoo where we had the brakfast first and then we visit the zoo. At 12:00 Departure from Ranua Zoo towards Rovaniemion we stopped first for grocery shopping and lunch at Rovaniemi shopping mall.

Then we visited the Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi. In Santa Claus village you can take pictures with the SANTA, cross the magical Arctic circle, have lunch in one of the restaurants, buy souvenirs, send postcards from the Santa’s official post office and have a lunch. Departure to Saariselkä at 16.45.

19:45 Arrival in Saariselkä, briefing and lodging in the cottages, get my bedroom with my friend Giulia, later on free time for saunas dinner and few drinks with the cottage mates.

Day trip to Norway starting at 6:45 peparture with the bus from the cottages.

A one-day bus tour during which we had not only experience breathtaking landscapes, walk on the shores of the Arctic Ocean and even swim in it, but you’ll also meet and learn about the indigenous peoples who’ve lived in this cold and inhospitable region for thousands of years – the Sámi (Lapp) people and the Finnish Kven’s in the fishing village of Bugøynes. We also had the chance to taste traditional fish soup in a local restaurant. The 550-kilometre tour takes around 8 hours.

Super amazing, going up to Nporway  driving through the snow with the sunrise, very amational, then we stopped in a gasoline station where they sell reinder ribs. Later on when we  crossed the border to Norway we stoped for take a pic (just a pic because was too cold ) to the Skoltefosse waterfall, then we stopped few time for a panoramic view and when was almost dark we arrived in Bugoynes, where we eat in the Bugoynes bistro, just after we went to the sauna next to the ocean, and we runned to the ocean taking a bath even if the water was insopportable coldbut we did it and not only once. After that experience we were super lucky and we saw the northern light just after the sauna, amaizing and absolutely unespected.

At 20:00 Arrival back to Saariselkä, dinner and few drinks with our cottage mates then sleep.

DAY 4 – Friday 01. 12. 2017

Morning woke up late breakfast in the cottage enjoing the winter atmosphere then sauna few pic and walk around the snow till Perla cottage and then come back all together in ours for a noon thè. Then we did snowshoeing that is one of our most enjoyable activities. Our guides make sure you conquer even the steepest of hills and enjoy what the National Park has to offer. You get a spectacular chance to both make new life long friendships and challenge your self in picturesque Lappish scenery, something to reminisce even after years. Then we had a dinner all together in the restaurant and after we went home for chilling, doing the sauna and drink some wine together.

DAY – 5 Saturday 02.12.2017

Wake up not too early for the husky activities, we get there with the bus and after a brief instruction lesson the huskies will take you for a tour through the snowy landscapes. The sledges are shared by two people, each will drive for about 5km, I shared the sled with my Dutch classmate and after the safari you will enjoy a warm snack and tea in the base camp. Then we did the reindeer activities they are peaceful and gentle creatures of the north. Seated comfortably in a reindeer guided sleigh, you are taken on a ride in style. In this activity didn’t only met the reindeer but I also know the lifestyle of the indigenious culture of Lapland, the Sámi people. In the golden days reindeer had a very different meaning to communities than they have today so come and hear about living in Lapland with the reindeers.

Then I went in Perla cottage for enjoing and drink all together for the last night, and later  around 23.00 pm we moved to the Tunturihotel for clubbing all night.

( Here there is something that I will never forget 29€ for 4 tequila shot ).

DAY 6 – Sunday 03.12.2017

At 11: 00 am we did the check-out, then free time in Saariselka but everyone we were very in hangover for do something so we just went for lunch little walk, and spend the afternoon in a bar for an hot cholate and some good chatting before leaving the village.

At 17:00 departure from the meeting point for home journey, all night on the bus.

DAY 7 – Monday 04.12.2017

We stopped few times in the night, like at  06:00 in Tampere, and at 9:30 in Helsinki where we had enought time to go in the city center for a coffee, and then by ferry to tallin and from tallinn to Riga by bus like the way to go.

We arrived in Riga around 9.00 pm so all the Italian of the trip we went together to the sushi restaurant, for share and talk about the great experience, and the home for rest.

All three Italian from my university together at the airport, ready to leave Riga and come back in Italy, for them were forver for me not because I will come back on February after the winter holiday.

Frebruary 10th I come back in Riga after the winter at home for Christmas and I was studying for an Italian exam but I fail it and I couldn’t graduated so I decided to come back in Riga for an other semester, till the end of June.

Holidays from the 02-03-2018 to 11-03-18. Back to Portugal after one year that my second erasmus experience finished. I decided to come back in Portugal during the spring break with my friend Lucrezia that I met her in Tomar while we where living in the same dormitory.

DAY 1 – Friday 02.03.2018

I’m live in Riga so I took the flight to Brussels at 20:40 from Riga airport and the day after an other plane to Lisbon that was the cheapest option. Once I arrived in Brussels I took Uber to go to the hostel called ” Quality Hostel city center ” to sleep.

DAY 2 – Saturday 03.03.2018

I arrived on Saturday 3 March in the afternoon and Lucrezia arrived a big before then me she wait me in the airport.

After we went in Tomar the small city where we were living, our Portuguese friends come to pick up us in the train station and we went to have a dinner in the dormitory of the university… omg a lot of memories there! To many emotions … trying to feel not so nostalgic we had a dinner and pre-drinking there. For the first out night we went in the same club where we used to go Rio bar.

DAY 3 – Sunday 04.03.2018

Hangover day, basically. We didn’t do so much just walking around the city spent most of the time in our favorite bar in the main square and meet up with our friends, and than dinner me and Lucrezia at Bela Vista.

DAY 4 – Monday 05.03.2018

Direction Lisbon walk around the city fortunately the weather wasn’t so bad and instead of Riga where I used to live now was totally perfect! In the noon we went to visit again the St. George castle when the sun goes down. During the night we went to the pink street where it’s full of pub and clubs, and than go back to the hostel to sleep.

DAY 5 – Tuesday 06.03.2018

We decided to wake up early around 9 am direction Cabo da roca we never been there was super amazing, it’s the estreme place in the west Europe after we went for the lunch in Cascais and Boca do inferno absolutely and amazing/rich zone of Lisbon. On the way back we made a little stop in the Belém tower while the sun goes down. And then we went out for a dinner.

The last morning in Lisbon so we decided to treat us well doing the breakfast in the Praça di Comércio with an amazing view. Later we took the train to go back in Tomar and night out in the club where we used to go Rio Bar and where we were the first night.

Sadly morning in the hostel and after with our friends we visited Convent of Christ ( that was my fourth time there ) last dinner at Tabuleiro with the super testy sangria of the restaurant and amaizing atmosphere as usual.

DAY 9 – Saturday 10.03.2018

Lisbon airport to Brussels so pretty much all day traveling. Very sad said bye to Lucrezia but we live just one hour far from each other so we will see again in the next months. And I go back to the same hostel in Brussels ” Quality Hostel City Centre ” where I arrived again in the night.

DAY 10 – Sunday 11.03.2018

Little walk around Brussels in the morning, it was my second time because my first time was with my ex boyfriend In April 2013 for his graduation holiday. So I remember a bit the city and was a big pleasure have again the possibility to be there. But unfortunately after lunch I went to the Charleroi airport direction Riga. And finally around 9 pm I arrived at home.

Was absolutely emotional come back there after one year and now if I thought about those days feels like a lovely dream. It’s always very difficult day good bye to the person and to the places for me and this time I know that I will be back in Tomar not soon, maybe Lisbon but not my little Tomar.

Winchester before easter 2018

During my Exchange year in Riga, before easter holidays I went 4 days in Uk to visit one of my best friend from high school Chiara, that she’s living in Winchester for her master degree.

DAY 1 – 24.03.2018

I will never forget the beginning of this holiday for what I can remember!

Was all week of party because there were the Riga fashion week so I was super exacted and busy and the day of my flight was Saturday at 6/7 so Friday night of course u went out for parting and after I just pass to my house for take the luggage actually for do the luggage with the flash my roommate they was sleeping and after I took immediately the taxi to the airport with the make on from the night.

Omg I remember anything of the flight I just know that I lended in Luton and there I took two different busses and I arrived in Winchester around 10/11.

She was waiting me there, both of us totally fucked up from the night before, we went to the campus of Winchester we had a quick lunch there and then we went to sleep all afternoon.

For the evening we get ready to the party in the city at the club called Pitcher & Piano, and then we come back home to sleep.

DAY 2 – 25.03.2018

We sleep in the morning and then we went to the Thiland restaurant for the lunch and in the afternoon we met with her friends and we walked around the city taking pics.

Then we go back to the campus we had a dinner in her residence and we get ready to the karaoke night.

DAY 3 – 26.03.2018

We woke up in the morning, and we went to took the train to Sothempton which is around one hour and then we did a bit of shopping there and we visit the city and the port till the sunset time and then we come back home.

DAY 4 – 27.03.2018

We woke up and we took the train to London, and there we arrived in Waterloo and we took the undergroud till Liverpool street and then from there we took the train to Stansted Airport, where Chiara she was going to take the flght to come back in Italy for the easter holidays and me I was taking the flight was 5 pm to Riga which I arrive there at 9:30 pm I took a taxi to the Valdemara residence, and then I went to Selvaggia house where there was also Perla to have a dinner all together.

From the 30th of March 2018 to the third of April I went in Poland  for holidays ( Warsaw and Cracow ) from Riga where I was living in that period during my 4th year of university. I organized this trip with one of my best friend Perla that I met her in Riga in the first semester.

DAY 1 – Friday 30.03.18

We depart from Riga at 3.00 am we did more then four hors by bus to go in Vilnius where we had our flight to Warsaw, that was one of my funniest flight because our flight from Vilnius was at 9:10 am and we arrived in Warsaw Chopin at 9:00 am while Warsaw is one hor back instead of Vilnius.

Then we took a bus to the city center we suppose to stay at the Oki Doki Hostel so we went there by walk afetr the bus, but once we where there the receptionist told us that they don’t have any reservation and they have an other hostel in the old town so we took Taxify to the Hostel in the old town. Super exausted from the journey we walk around the old town randomly and we stopped for the luch at the Sznyt reastaurant precisely in the main square.

Later we took a taxify to the Lazienki park while it was a very sunny day, that was very enjoiable spend a bit time outdoor.

For dinner we traied to eat the famous Pierogi just out of our hostel at the polskie pierogi zapiecek restaurant, personally I didn’t ike it at all. Then we went traight to the bed super tired from the long day that we had, and the early alarm the next day.

We woke up at 4 am to go to Cracow, we took again the taxify to the train station then the train was at 5:00 am and we arrive in Cracow around 9 am, the weater wasn’t halping us, I mean very cold and cloudy, terrible, none around looks like a death city, we just stopped in the first bar for have a breakfast.

Then we went in the main square of the city,  Rynek Główny Square very big and suggestive unfortunately for the weater that we weren’t lucky, then we walked up to the Wawel Castel very beautiful buildings nad grat view.

Later we went in a randomly restaurant in the old town to eat somethings, we took the last walk around the city and then we took again the train to Warsaw where we arrive ther around 7 pm or even earlier.

Straight to the hostel very nice and welcoming atmosphere in the bedroom we were eight person if I remeber well but we didn’t really socialize with ours roomate, just quck shower and then dinner at Sznyt reastaurant the same as we had the lunch the prevois day and after clubbing at level 27, very grat club we had a lot of fun.

( Actually the plan of the day was to visit auschwitz that’s really near to Cracow but we could’t becouse all the tickets were sold out while was easter holidays period ).

DAY 3 – Sunday 01.04.18

Easter day, we were totally in hagover from the night before and those days very instensive so we put the alarm at 10:30/11 am.

I woke up that Perla was sceaming on her grandma for wishing an happy easter, that was too funny and super epic!! Then we get ready to the luch easter, expect something cool for celebrate but then every restaurant were closed so we eat a pijalnia restaurant also this one just in the end of the street of our hostel.

We walked around but the city was truly empty then we come back in hostel for rest a bit, we socialized with the staff and the others guest and we had a traditional easter  Mexican soup and then we played few games together, then we left the hostel for meet Sofy one of my class mate of the second semester in Riga, that she was in Warsaw with her mother. So we eat and drink somethings more together and then we went to teatro cubano for clubbing, one of the funnies club that I have been in my life, we really had a good night and we met also all the guys from the hostel.

DAY 4 – Monday 02.04.18

The last day in Warsaw for me was really hard I was kind of sick because a get the cold staing outside and visinting all the time and the weather dis’t help us.

So we went out of the hostel for the lunch time we eat in a randomly restaurant and then we visited all the places that we didn’t explore yet like the Polin museum of history of Polish jews actually we tried to visit it because was close when we tried to get inn, so we opted for the jews cemitery and then we come back to the hostel with taxify to pick up our bags, but before going to the bus station for the sunset we visit the Palace of the culture and science where we found an unexpected amaizing view of the city.

Then we eat for the dinner at the shopping center next to the bus stop and then we took the bus at 9.00 pm to come back in Riga.

DAY 5 – Tuesday 03.04.18

We arrived  in Riga in the morning around 11 am ( around 14th hours of bus )  after that we spent all night in the bus trying to sleep, and then I slept all day at home tired to get some rest from the trip.

Day trip in Tallin with Perla

On the 7th of April we decide to visit Tallin even if we already visit it both of us during the fist semester.

We took the bus from Riga to Tallin, I was very tired because the night before was Friday so I went out with my friends to Coyote Fly the club where we used to go all the time. So I just slept on the bus, while Riga – Tallinn is 4 hours. We arrived in Tallin at 7 am everithings was closed and nobody around, the only place open was mcDonald so we went there were we had a breakfast and than we walked around the city, we stayed a bit in the main square to enjoy the day that was really nice and sunny, and than in noon we went to the sea like an other side of the city that we neve visited before.

Than we took the bus to come back in Riga around 5 pm, and than Perla she comes to my residence for the dinner and we went out with my friend and we celebrated the birthday of one of my flatmate Nicolò a Spanish guy, and we went to KV and other club that we used to go.

28th – 29th April 2018 trip to Latgale with ESN Riga.

Latgale  ( Russian : Латгалия) is one of the four historical and cultural regions of Latvia  recognised in the Constitution of the Latvian Republic. It is the easternmost region north of the Daugava river.

Day 1:

Departure from Riga at 7 am in Riga in front of the Latvian Business university, we were one full bus of exchange student. The first stap that we made was at the teiču dabas rezervāts. Later on we arrived in Rezekne where we visit the city and had the lunch, and after we stopped in Liepu Kalns a view point in the country side.

Here we arrived in the place where we spent the night in cottages Guest house Zirga Smaids, all with their own sauna, just meters away from the beautiful lake Nirza.

Day 2:

Breakfast and departure around 8:30 am.

First stop in Velnezers lake really beautiful lake, later on we stopped in Aglona church.

After for lunch we stopped at the bread museum in Aglona. And after finally we arrived in Daugavpils Cietoksnis where we vist a really nice Latvian art museum, and as a last stop we visit smakovkas muzejs.

Around 10 pm we arrived back in Riga.

10th – 13th May 2018 Oslo and Bergen

We planned this trip at the beginning of the second semester in Ferbryuary we found absolytely a cheap flight from Riga to Oslo and we organize all the trip super carfully because we know that Norway is super expensive so for eat we always went in the supermarket and for sleep we did a coughch surfing and for the transport bla bla car but only the way back in Oslo because go to Bergen with the train it can be considered a an attraction because is super beautuful the view in the countryside.

The 9th of May:

The first dayafter class I went at home I did the back pack for my staff after I walked to the place of my friend Perla and she put in the backpack her stuff we went to take the tram to the airport.

The flight was at 2 pm so in one hour we arrived in Oslo.

We arrived at the Oslo airport …. were we took the bus to the train station, at first we visited the Opera house just behind the train station and later the Fortresses…. and then we pass in front of the royal palace to the direction of the house that we found for the night thanks to Coughsurfing.

The 10th of May:

The second day we visited the Statue garden and from there we when trough the royal palace and down the hill we stop at the nation gallery museum and then we did the last stop at the cathedral and around 3 pm we took the train to Bergen.

I don’t know to describe the voyage to Bergen was something super amazing!

We arrived at 10:30 pm and our host was waiting us in the train station, we walked under the rain for more then 30 minutes through all the city, and when we arrived at home he show us the all the places where he has been was something incredible!

The 11th of May:

We walked with our host in all the city that he show us the most important places.

And after around lunch time we booked a Fijord Cruise just for 65 nok it was a really exited experience!

Lasted when we went back in the city we walked a bit more around and for the sunset we went with the funicular in a place up for watching the sun goes down and later just back home.

The 12th of May:

“The way back to Oslo”

We went in the super market for the breakfast and after we waited our bla bla car in Bergen.

Was a super nice experience we traveled with a French couple, and doing the journey on the car we saw a different landscape and places instead the way back with the train.

And when we went back in Oslo we where super tired so we went straight at “home” at the same house as before that we did coughsurfing.

The 13th of may

And the next morning we left early to the airport but unfortunately we founded a huge delay with wiz air so we arrived at home in Riga a bit late.

From the 6th to 12 th June 2018 my mum comes to me in Riga.

DAY 1 – Wednesday 06.06.2018
I was back in Italy for one exam and after my mum took the plane with me to go in Riga her first time that she took a plane.

We leave our house in the night to go in the Milan airport were our flight was really early in the morning so we spent the night travelling/ in the airport and the morning after we arrived in Riga super tired.

DAY 2 – Thursday 07.06.2018

The morning that we arrived in residence was the last morning for my roommate Jeanne so I had a lunch with her and said goodbye, while my mum was sleeping, and in the noon we took a work in the old town of Riga and then went to sleep early because we were tired from the journey.

DAY 3 – Friday 08.06.2018

In the morning we went the countryside museum, back in the Valdemara for lunch and in the noon we explore the old town and we met my friend Perla for an aperitif and we took few pic around the old town.

Then my mum she went to sleep and I went out with my friends.

DAY 4 – Saturday 09.06.2018

Morning we went to visit the library of the city then did the boat tour in the river and we walked around the city, for lunch we stopped in the dom square in one of the open air restaurant 13 Kresli and then back walk in the Valdemara for rest a bit.
For the sunset we went at the Skyline bar and then sleep.

DAY 5 – Sunday 10.06.2018

We took the train around 10 am to go in Sigulda and Turaida with My friend Perla, very nice day, and we spent all the day walk around and visit the castle and the area around.

Then home we rest and we went to sleep early.

DAY 6 – Monday 11.06.2018

Me and my mum we took the train and we went to Jurmala all day enjoy the beach even if wasn’t the beast weather and then we come back in Riga and we had a dinner at Ala folks pub, and then we went again at skyline Riga for a drink and my friend Perla she reach us, and then we went to sleep.

DAY 7 – Tuesday 12.06.2018
We woke up at 9 am, we did the breakfast in the old town with Perla and the last walk in the Riga old town with my mum, than back to Valdemara in my bedroom to took the lugagge and bring my mum to the airport with taxify.
