Paraguay and Uruguay 2024

We supposed to visit this two country on our way east to west getting into Brazil but the plan changed and we did the opposite way; so from Brazil we get into Ciudad del Este walking and than the capital Asunción flying down to Montevideo, Colonia del Sacramento and from the the ferry to BA.

DAY 1 – Monday 19.02.24

Woke up at 7:30 am did the breakfast got ready, packed everything did the check out and then we got an Uber till the border from there we walked crossing the bridge and we get in Ciudad del Este and there we got an other Uber to the bus station where we get on the bus at 12:00 pm to Asunción, get there at 7:30 pm and the got an other Uber to the Hostel, did the check in and we went to sleep.

DAY 2 – Tuesday 20.02.24

Woke up at 6:50 am got ready for the tour and went to Bolsi for breakfast then we discovered that the tour was at 9:30 am so we chilled a bit and then we started the tour at the Pantheon continuing around all the city. Then at 1 pm we went back to the hostel packed everything and get and Uber to the airport to Montevideo, had a quick lunch at the airport and embarked at 5:00 pm flight to Montevideo with Panair and landed at 6:50 pm. From there get an Uber and went to the Hostel.

DAY 3 – Wednesday 21.02.24

We woke up at 8 am walked to the beach and then went to the Main Street grab some breakfast and got ready for the free walking tour at 10:30 am where we visited most of the city. After the tour we stoped again at the market bought some food for lunch and we went to the rooftop of the hostel to eat there and then we organize everything, called an Uber and went to the bus stop at terminal Rodoviario de Montevideo where we catch the bus at 5:30 pm to Colonia del Sacramento arrived there at 8 pm, did the check in and went to sleep.

DAY 4 – Thursday 22.03.24

Woke up at 7 am did a cold shower, had breakfast in the hostel and went out to explore the little city, fist stopping at the light house and then exploring the city. After we stopped in a market for lunch where we eat in the park and then walked like 3 hrs by the beach on the way to Plaza de Toros and then we took the bus back, stopped for an ice cream and then at 6 pm we went back to the hostel grab the backpack and we went to the port, did all the migration controls and then we got on the boat at 8:30 pm to Buenos Aires. We arrived there at 9:45 pm quick run and from there we ordered an Uber to go to the Hotel.
