About

Hi, I’m Benedetta! I’m a traveler, adventurer, lifelong learner and seeker of experiences. Life for me has always been about embracing freedom, seeking adventure, and making the most out of every moment, whether it’s exploring a hidden village in Italy, surfing in Costa Rica, or watching the Northern Lights in Lapland.

I was born on July 12, 1995, in a small town in Italy. Growing up, I was surrounded by nature, art, and animals, which shaped my love for creativity, curiosity, and exploration. Even as a child, I loved discovering new things, painting, drawing, and exploring the outdoors. My childhood had its share of challenges and personal losses, but those experiences taught me resilience, empathy, and the value of living fully.

By my teenage years, I was already exploring the world in small ways, traveling around Italy with friends and family, attending summer camps, and learning to embrace new experiences. High school was a time of growth, independence, and curiosity. I started dreaming of faraway places, meeting new people, and understanding cultures beyond my own.

Education and personal growth have always been central to my journey. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Economics at 24 and my master’s degree in General Management & Digital Skills at 29, all while working, volunteering, and traveling. I’ve lived in 10 different countries, participated in multiple Erasmus programs, and completed internships abroad. I’ve worked in many roles, from lifeguard to bartender to dancer, which taught me independence, resilience, and the importance of hard work. Through it all, I’ve learned that life is as much about the journey as the destination.

Before turning 30, I packed my life with learning, work, and adventure. I finished high school at 19, started university, studied seven languages, and completed internships in Brazil, Egypt, and Europe. I worked summers as a lifeguard, gardener, and waitress, started my first investment account, and traveled extensively through Europe and beyond. I lived in Ireland, Germany, Portugal, Latvia, and Paris for studies and internships, and I worked in London for a summer. I traveled solo for the first time at 20, couchsurfed in Norway and Malaysia, backpacked across Asia, slept in train stations and airports to save money, and explored over 80 countries with more than 200 flights. Along the way, I fed baby kangaroos in Australia, hiked Machu Picchu, climbed Mount Sinai, swam in cenotes, learned to surf in Costa Rica, skied and snowboarded in Poland, attended Rio Carnival and Tomorrowland, went on African safaris, celebrated Fashion Week in Riga, and even got paid to be an extra in a Russian film. I took cold plunges in Norway, went camping and glamping, stayed and drove houseboats in Australia, attended Broadway in NYC, saw the Northern Lights, and survived solo in Mexico with dengue fever. I also volunteered for five years with the Red Cross, spent a month volunteering in Ukraine, built my travel blog, and started writing my autobiography. I experienced love, engagement in Indonesia, marriage in Australia, and supported my mum on vacations.

Travel has been my greatest teacher. Every adventure, from backpacking solo to traveling with friends or family, has shown me the beauty of human connection, the thrill of stepping outside your comfort zone, and the joy of being fully present in the world. Life isn’t just about destinations it’s about growth, relationships, and creating meaningful experiences. I’ve loved deeply, faced heartbreak, navigated a global pandemic, and built a life where curiosity, independence, and joy guide my choices.

Through this blog, I want to share my journey: the travels, the challenges, the lessons, and the unforgettable moments. I hope my stories inspire you to explore, dream, and embrace life fully because the world is vast, life is unpredictable, and every day is an opportunity for adventure. I also hope that by sharing my experiences, you feel inspired to start your own adventures and create memories that last a lifetime.
