DAY 24 – Tuesday 17.12.24

Woke up at 6:30 am went for breakfast at the hotel and then we chilled by the pool till 10:30 am where we packed everything did the check out and then we jumped on the truck heading to the border to get into Botswana. Which it was very smooth and then we did a little stop in a supermarket and then we went to the camp where we set up the tends had a quick lunch and  by 3 pm we join the cruise in Chobe River which it was very nice and we could see many African animals during the boat ride but again unfortunately same as the night before the weather wasn’t the best, very Cousy and raining. The cruise was for roughly three hours and then we went back to the camp chatted a bit with the new tour guide Costa getting to know him and then we had dinner all together and then we went to sleep. 

DAY 25 – Wednesday 18.12.24

Woke up at 6:30 am packed the tend and left at 7:45 am leaving the banks of the Chobe River, and head south into the Kalahari Desert. We arrived at our accommodation in nata 12:30 pm, put the tend down had lunch and then we had a bit of free time at the accomodation while it was raining and then at 4:30 pm we enjoy a guided drive to the Nata pans, which forms the breeding ground for a host of water birds including pelicans and flamingo in their thousands. It was a really nice experience meaning a different safari and stopping in the Salt Pans while enjoying the sunset which unfortunately we didn’t see it and taking few pictures while having a drink. Then we went back to the accommodation and we had dinner all together by the fire. 

DAY 26 – Thursday 19.12.24

Woke up at 5:15 am packed everything quick had breakfast and by 6 am we left the camp heading to Maun where we stopped to cash out quickly and then be collected from Maun around 12 pm and will be transferred to the Khwai Conservation area in smaller 4×4 safari type vehicles, and we had a quick lunch just sandwiched stopping the Conservation Area under a tree. Then at 4 pm we arrive at Okavango Delta where we did the canoa activity in the river which it was absolutely amazing and then we proceed with the jeep to the camp to check in in the permanent tend and the had dinner which it was absolutely delicious the cuisine in this camp and then we went to sleep. 

DAY 27 – Friday 20.12.24

Woke up at 5 am had breakfast by 5:30 am and then left for a game drive as we spend most of our day on safari in the Moremi Game Reserve in search of the species that roam the plains.

Expect some bumpy roads as we traverse this wilderness area in our 4×4 vehicles. Offering habitats from wetland, open water to the grasslands and Savannah woodland, we hope to see as many species of fauna and flora possible.  Till 11 am with just a little coffee stop during the game drive and then we went back to the camp to have lunch and then a bit of break after lunch which unfortunately was raining so we couldn’t really take any pictures so we just rest a bit and then by 4 pm we did again a game drive till 7:30 pm when we had dinner and then we went to sleep immediately. 

DAY 28 – Saturday 21.12.24

Woke up at 5 am packed everything had breakfast at 5:30 am and then we left the camp. Departing early this morning in our 4×4 vehicles and make our way back to Maun, where we got there around 11 am and we had all afternoon free to chill by the pool, I called my mum and I napped a little bit. Then dinner was at 7 pm and we went to sleep while all the night was thundering and raining roughly.

DAY 29 – Sunday 22.12.24

Woke up at 5:45 am was raining but anyway we decided to do the scenic flight in Maun over the Moremi Game Reserve at 7:30 am for 45 minutes which it was very nice only if the weather was better could’ve been more enjoyable. Then we went back to the camp pack the tend had a quick breakfast and by 9:30 am we continue north-west and cross the border into Namibia, but before we stopped for a quick lunch next to the road and then venturing towards the Kavango River where we did one hour and half cruise to spot wild animals and we stopped at the camp by the river for our overnight stop in Divundu. After the cruise we set up the tends, had dinner and then we went to sleep.
