Road Trip Australia 2020( QLD+NT+NSW )

46 DAYS OF TRAVELLING

I started the adventure renting a car for 18th days of road trip from Brisbane to Cairns, than I stayed in Cairns a bit worked there and travelling around till Cape Tribulation. Than I flight to Darwin and with the bus I went to Alice spring where I’ve rented a car till Ayers Rock and from there I flew to Sydney.

( Cape Hillsborough, Mackay )

After few months of working in Australia precisely after:

⁃ 1 months in Brisbane before COVID-19

⁃ 3 months of farm work

⁃ 3 months of working in Brisbane

⁃ 1 month in GC working a travelling

I decided to visit all Queensland which I think is one of the best part of Australia, at the beginning I thought to go around asking lift making tour and that’s it but then I understand that is impossible because a lot of things you can’t do anymore due to the virus as well so I decided to rent a car for the first time of my life I choose the cheapest company East Coast rental and one of the most famous. So I rent it for 18 days which I hope that’s the best time to do all the things that I wanna do, and sleep in the car in each rest area that I will found thanks to the CamperMate app. So that was the beginning planning to arrived in Cairns and I booked everything step by step and also the rest of the trip.

The woman that she works at the car rental press me to put an insurance so while I was waiting the car I’ve got afraid and I decided to make a full insurance. It cost a lot almost the same amount of the rental but I felt more safe at that moment so everything covered. Than I went to the port at Tangalooma Island just near the Brisbane airport, I bought the ticket, I parked the car and at 10 am I get on the board. After more than an hour I arrived at the island very amazing I didn’t expect that it was already around 12 pm and at 4 pm or before the boat will leave so I didn’t have that much time to stayed there or do tours so I just started walk in the beach in the direction of the wrecks it was amazing I totally felt in love with the island. I had a quick lunch and than at 3:30 pm I went back on the boat. Such an amazing island! Arrived at the harbour just before the sunset I took the car and I started drive to north in Sunshine Coast direction, the first caravan park was at Golden Beach but I couldn’t make it and I didn’t wanna spend money so I just parked on the street next to the beach we’re there were other van, I went to the back seat of the car and I felt asleep immediately because I was very tired from the day.
