From the 26th September to the 10th of October 2018

I booked the flight ticket during my exchange in Riga with my friend Perla, finally she couldn’t come so I decided to go alone, I booked a TOUR OF 10 days with Touradar/ travel talk -> exotic Marocco, and the rest of the days I stayed in Marrakech by myself.

Day 1: Wednesday 26.09.18 – Riad Kenzo- Marrakech

I went in Milan Bergamo by myself taking the train to Milan central station and then from there the bus to the airport, I took the last bust at 00:00, I slept in the airport, actually I tried to sleep but finally I just took a nap of two/three hours.
The flight was at 6:35, and I arrive in Marrakech at 8:40 ( 3 hours of flight more less and one hour back from the Italian …. )

I did all the passport control and exct. then I searched my taxi to the Riad Kenzo, from the airport just half and hour, pretty close.
Once I get out of the taxi come a men that I took my back back in a little …. and he
just told me to follow him, I was scared the street full of people, car, moto, bike donkey, horses every one shouting and running, I just followed the man the the riad very quickly without looking anyone. The riad very beautiful and comfortable place, the manager offer me a Maroccan tea with some biscuits very delicious, but I was very tired so I just wait a bit for my bedroom and I went to sleep till 3 pm.

When I went for a snack and drink a glass of wine in the cafe des epic one of the most famous place in the mediana of Marrakech, back in the riad a spent a bit of time in the rooftop for enjoying the sunset very amazing.
And at 8 I had the dinner at the Riad very quite and relaxing just in front of the pool super amazing, I eat two types of marrocan salad and then meet balls with eggs on the top and vegg tajin.
Then I went to sleep.

Day 2: Thursday 27.09.18- Riad Kenzo – Marrakech

I woke up at 9 breakfast in the riad then walking around the Médina of Marrakech.
In the afternoon I visited Majorelle Garden where I eat something and then the museum of YSL.
Back in the riad for a little rest and at 7:40 pm I went to have a dinner with an organize tour in Chez ali, very beautiful and typical, I eat a typical soup, beer tajin, cous cous with chicken and then some maroccan biscuits and of course the tea.

And then started the show with the show with the horses and the dancer.
Come back around 11 went straight to sleep.

Day 3: Friday 28.09.18 – Riad Kenzo – Marrakech

Breakfast at 8 am 8:30 started the organize day tour to the waterfall Ozuzu. Very nice and impressive atmosphere, we were a small group all of them Spanish I was the only one Italian in the group, we had a lunch with a great waterfalls view and then we meet the monkey for taking some pictures with them and around 6 we arrived at the Riad.

For the dinner I went out with three Spanish girls that they are living in there front door of mine and I meet there in the tour.
We went in a really nice place Kui zin restaurant just next to the riad, and there I eat some chicken curry very good and we enjoyed the Maroccan show with the dancer and the musicians.

Day 4: Saturday 29.09.18- Hotel blue sea le printemps – Marrakech

Wake up at 9 am I had the brakfast with the Spanish girls, then I took the pictures around the riad Kenzo, that I super love it full of great spot for photos.
Then I walked around and I found the le jardin secret very peaceful and nice place in the heart of Marrakech where I had a lunch in the terrace with a great view of the garden.
After I come back at the riad to take my backpack to go at the meeting point of the tour while it takes me around 40 minutes of walking because the hotel was located in the new side of the city, I did the check in I went to the bedroom I meet my roommate from Australia and at 7pm we went downstairs for the meeting, once I arrived there I realized that most of them are Australian living in London while travel talk gets a lot of British/ Australian in their tours, and yes so far I was the only one european.

We went to have a dinner in the Médina of Marrakech with all the group, and there I tried the chicken lemon tajin so in four days I tried all the Maroccan food, and I was already almost bored, the back to the Hotel to sleep.

Day 5: Sunday 30.09.18 – Hotel Miramar – Essaouira

Alarm at 7:00 breakfast and at 8 visit the Bahia palace and the main square of Marrakech with a tour guide that explain us a bit of the background of Marocco and the history of Marrakech. Later on direction essauira with our private bus, first stop lunch, in a small bar on the way I just get a quick sandwich and then back on the bus.

Then we made a few stop on the way to essaouira we started with the goats on the tree, cooperative argan oil, view point on the Essaouira city.

Arrived in the Hotel we did the check in I was again with my Australian roommate in the bedroom, we had just one hour of relax and the hotel was just in front of the beach so we went there I tried to take a bath but the water was too cold so I just get wet my legs and a bit of walking next to the sea. At 6 pm started the tour of the city visiting all the small street and sunset next to the fortresses, it was something incredible very amazing and impressive. In 9 girls we decided to have a dinner at Taro a nice terrace in the main square of Eassouira very nice and typical with music, then walking to the hotel for a good rest.

Day 6: Monday 01.10.18 – Ibis casa Voyageurs – Casablanca

Alarm at 7, breakfast in the Hotel and at 8 leave to Casablanca 5 hours of driving few stop on the way, lunch in Casablanca next to the ocean, visit the Hassan II Mosque, then one hour of relax in the hotel for the shower and later tour in the medina of Casablanca and dinner in some random restaurant, in the center of the city and then with the bus back to the Hotel.

Day 7: Tuesday 02.10.18 – Hotel Al Mandari – Tetouan

” Dar al-Makhzen, Rabat “

Alarm 5:45 breakfast leave Casablanca at 6:30 direction Rabat, royal palace ( Dar al-Makhzen ), Médina of Rabat. After stop somewhere on the way  for a lunch.
At 4:30 pm we arrived in chefchoun till 8 pm walk around and taking pictures, I reach the others of the group at the terrace in the main square very beautiful for enjoying the sunset, and then with the bus we went to the Hotel in Tetouan.

Day 8: Wednesday 03.10.18 – Hotel royal mirage – Fes

Alarm at 7 am with an amazing view of the sun rise quick breakfast and then on the way to the blu city, when we arrived there get a rest in the square enjoining it while drinking a cold coffee then we visited the Alkasar of Chefchoun, and then I went straight to take pictures around the blue city till 1 pm. Then we left Chefchoun approx. around 1:30 pm to Fes where we arrived there at 6 after five hours of drive, I was very tired so I ordered the dinner in the bedroom and then sleep.

Day 9: Thursday 04.10.18 – Hotel royal mirage – Fes

Breakfast in the hotel, 9:15 am leave the hotel, King Palace, then walk throw the medina with the tour guide, lunch there, then with the bus we have been at the Panoramic place of Fes where u can see all the city. Then we visit the Ceramic industry.
We stopped in the mall for buying the stuff for camp in the desert.
Free time, eat something in the Hotel next to the pool an then sleep.

Day 10: Friday 05.10.18 – camping in the desert by Yasmina

Breakfast 6 am, Leave Fes 6:30 am, First stop in a Switzerland village then Monkey stop
Lunch, Shopping for the desert in a typical Maroccan shop on the way.

Comping Yasmina, leave the big lugagge on the bus take the stuff only for the night, before the sunset ride the camels till the tend camp in the middle of the desert, once we arrived we had a dinner all together next to the fire and a group of Africans that they were playing instruments and sing, then we stayed a bit outside to see the stars and then I decided to sleep out of the tend while wasn’t soo cold and many others did the same.

Day 11: Saturday 06.10.18 – camping in the desert at the Resort Yasmina

Alarm 6:30 go up to the hill all together to enjoi the surise and take few pic then back to the tend and ride the camel at 7:40 to the camp Yasmina,breakfast all together check in the tends, shower and then at 10:30 4×4 car activity, till 1:30 pm, while the tour we stopped few times:
– Stop musician
– Stop in the panorama point
– Nomad family
– Desert

Then we come back in the camping Yasmina for the lunch all together, fortunately the weather was better and we could enjoy the afternoon taking sun next to the swimming pool and swim, later we went out of the camp to enjoi the sunset and then dinner at 8:30 pm and sleep.

Day 12: Sunday 07.10.18 – Hotel blue sea le printemp – Marrakech

Breakfast at 5 am, leave the camp at 5:30 am then spend all the day on the bus, we arrived back in Marrakech at the same hotel in the new area of the city. Once we did again the check in fortunately I still have my own bedroom so I immediately get there for a shower and then down to the hotel just next to the swimming pool for have a dinner bymyself and say good bye to the guys of the group.

Day 13: Monday 08.10.18 – Riad Laarouss – Marrakech

Breakfast at the hotel Primtemps, chill in the swimming pool relax  lunch there, then walk back to the Riad in the Medina of Marrakech not far from the first Riad actually, do the check-in and then go for the dinner at lotus privilege, amaizing resturant very reccomended.

Day 14: Tuesday 09.10.18- Ryad Larousse – Marrakech

Breakfast at the riad, chill and relax there a bit, take some photos and then walk to the medina Lunch at Nomad relax there and then come back to the Riad for the sunset and then sleep.

Day 15: Wednesday 10.10.18 – back home

Wake up early in the morning because the flight was at 9:00 am, I went in the airport by taxi called by the Riad and I went there aroend three hours before because I was afraid for the queque due to the passport controls.
